Olive Tree Inn

Excellent dining experience! Food was delicious, and our waitress, Melissa, was attentive and wonderful. I ordered the Linguini Alfredo w/Chicken, which turned out to be quite a large portion. I actually finished the whole plate, it was THAT good. The chicken was moist and tender, and just the right amount. We chose Caesar Salad, and Melissa made it herself with just the right amount of dressing. The croutons were home made, the bread was soft and warm, plenty of butter, and the large wine glasses were perfect. Definitely have to go back next time I'm in Napa.

Old school Italian feel Restaurant. Incredibly friendly. We showed up about 50 minutes before closing. Concerned we would get end of day food and tired service. We were greeted outside in the courtyard as we entered. Friendly smile and cheerful invite to come inside. Nice booth, clean and comfortable. Server quickly addressed our drink needs and began telling us about items on special and not on the menu. He definately new what the chefs had prepare down to the minor detail. If you follow my reviews you know I love my iced tea; extra ice and no lemon. He brought me back a wonderful black tea, overflowing ice and a second glass filled with extra ice.....and NO lemon! I was happy and ready to wind down and enjoy my upcoming entree. Rib eye medium with shrimp in mushroom sauce. WOW... my palette went crazy the flavor was outstanding the sauces were excellent but not overwhelming. I have never eaten vegetables that were so perfectly cooked and full of such robust distinctive taste. My partner ordered Chicken Parmesan she begged me to try because she said it was best she ever tasted. It too was tender and prepared perfectly.When the server came by I question how they were able to achieve the balance of perfectly cooked and full of taste.he took time to explain the chefs process. Fabulous I said. I forgot to mention the Calamari....I have never I mean never eaten Calamari as tender as it was at the Olive Tree in Napa. Needless to say the salad was great, the warm bread tasted like they just took out of the oven. Hats off the all the waitstaff that kept our drinks full and attentive service. I will definitely visit the Olive Tree on my next visit to Napa California.

Fresh ingedients...clearly made from scratch. Amber was a great server. The food was a little bland, despite finding cloves of garlic in the sauce....perhaps I am used to more herbs in my pasta sauce. Pasta was overcooked. Good bread. Salad and vegetables were very good. Overall, it was a good meal, not great. We were there early for dinner since we had just travelled from the east coast, and everyone else in the restaurant was a senior citizen, some regulars who were hard of hearing and talking quite loud.

ABSOLUTELY a delightful experience and our waitress was beyond exceptional! The place was immaculate, the food delicious, the plants unbelievable, the courtyard a dream to escape, and simply a wonderful experience all around. Not only no complaints I have to say I am beyond impressed with this place in another way... I have SEVERE allergies to many foods and spices and never once has any establishment gone to the lengths this waitress and chef did to make sure I would be okay. In fact, I was prepared my OWN MEAL!! (Granted they were not busy but they did not have to do that. ) Beyond impressed!!

We have lived in napa o er 10 years and have driven by this place several times however never knew about the place until we search for good Italian food in napa trying to avoid the downtown crowds. Food was excellent supper rice and clean place tasty food but the best part about our dining experiance was the attentive supper nice service for the two gentleman at our table we have compleatly fall in love with this place I had the calamity steak and the apple pie with icecream my entire family was very happy we have found a local awesome place to call a second home owner operated fair price for napa and most of it excellent service I wish there was a 6 star option or 10 for you guys thank you for a great evening
