Oh my—we were exploring the area, and found these good folks via Google Maps. The reviews gave high marks so we dropped in for lunch. This is an independent business, and the current owner(s) have carried on the traditions that made this stop a neighborhood favorite. The food & drink was great, as was the enjoyment for what we paid. Stephanie our bartender was on her game & made us feel just like we'd been coming in for years. We'll be back!

Don't let the dark bar and sparse atmosphere keep you from trying this spot - the food was surprisingly delicious. Had the bog balls -- fantastic rice-&-meat-filled fried local appetizer! (with a zesty dippin' sauce) -- and pot roast, which was comfort-food-perfection swimming in gravy atop well-cooked fresh green beans. The price was very reasonable, too. Cleaned my plate!

This place is a local hidden gem! The stuffed mushrooms are amazing and you can’t ever go wrong with the big balls. They have fabulous specials every day and everyone who works there is just so nice and welcoming! The owners are always there and they lead by example because they are always working right along side with their staff! Everyone who works there seems so happy and the place is always packed in the evenings. Prices are great the beer is cold and food is delicious!

This place is amazing!!!! Moved here a couple weeks ago and searched top places near new home!!! Food is fresh,excellent seasonings and flavor!!!! Definitely a favorite!!!! And shout out to Angelina our bartender and an owner I believe is Ed or Eddie. Thank you for making our experience remarkable, cant wait to come back!!! I have come here a few times as a local, and have enjoyed it every time. The atmosphere is comfortable and familiar, and the people who work here are so welcoming and friendly. The Happy Hour specials are amazing! We expected the portions to be smaller, but they seemed to be full size, which we were very happy about! Logan was our server, and he was prompt and patient. For appetizers, we got the string cheese and the fried cauliflower. They tasted amazing. The breading on both of these items was just right. I got the meatball sliders and my boyfriend got a salad. The meatball sliders were a little difficult to eat, because the meatballs were so big! I ended up cutting them in half, and enjoyed some of the meatballs by themselves. They were excellent! Their fries were also really good. I cannot speak for the whole salad, but I did try a piece of chicken and it was wonderful. I really enjoy this place!
