Awesome selection of foods and specials. Excellent selection of beers, wines and mixed drinks. Awesome environment, sat at the bar and the service was awesome. Suggest reservations, but we had no reservation, but we were seated before quoted time. Excellent waiting area with comfortable swings and little fire pits to stay warm.

The food is beyond delicious! I had the shrimp and grits with a side of pan seared scallops. The flavor was out of this world and the consistency of the grits was perfect. Our server Antonia was so accommodating and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that she values her customers and want them to have the best experience. This will be my go to restaurant during EVERY trip to Myrtle Beach!

An amazing dining experience! Antonia, our waitperson, was phenomenal, anticipatory, and highly knowledgeable about everything on the delectable menu. Visited with my girlfriends for getaway and this was our first meal of the weekend. Afraid no other restaurant will top this one. Highly suggest the she crab soup and the scallops.

I highly recommend H&B. Whenever my wife and I come to Myrtle Beach again, we will definitely be coming back. Our server, Jack, did a fantastic job and everyone there working had a great attitude. We had peel n eat shrimp for an appetizer which is one of my personal favorites. My wife had the crab cakes for her main course and I had the citrus rub mahi mahi. We finished with triple chocolate mousse cake for dessert and they also gave us a complimentary celebration cake for our anniversary! Everything we had was top notch. If you’re in the area and believe you get what you pay for then you can’t miss out on Hook and Barrel.

Outstanding! Make a reservation. So glad we tried this one while at Myrtle Beach. Complimentary starter, pimiento cheese and salted flatbread was both plentiful and yummy. The 3 of us ordered the salmon, cioppino (spicy) and the swordfish special. All were scrumptious. We shared the Key Lime pie for two. It was a lot, and pretty delicious. Service was superior. We would definitely return!

We were just looking for a nice seafood dinner while we were in town and we were blown away! We got the Spicy Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita & Fish House Punch cocktails, the Oysters Ala Heidi for an app, the Swordfish Special and Citrus Ahi Tuna for our mains, and the Chocolate Mousse Cake for Two. (Not all of the dish names are 100% accurate, but close enough!) Everything was perfect. Both fish dishes were melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the blueberry vinaigrette included with the special and citrus dressing on the tuna added such an amazing flavor to each. Plus, our waiter, Cole, was awesome! It was definitely our favorite dining experience while we were in town. If you have the chance you should definitely go but I highly recommend a reservation! We had one for 8:45pm and there was still a crowd waiting.

Top notch Customer service and great decor and vibe…check out their super cool bathrooms too! We splurged for their seafood tower as an appetizer to share as a table and it did not disappoint! The entire party was very happy with their entrees.

We arrived a little before our 6 pm reservation and got to enjoy the last few minutes of the happy hour specials! We enjoyed a couple cocktails and the fish bites! For dinner, we shared the she-crab soup, house salad, and pork chop entree with scallops added. They split everything for us since we love to share. That was an unexpected touch that we really appreciated! Can't wait to stop back in the next time we're in the area! Oh, and the desserts next door are scrumptious! Cheers!

Tried H&B after recommendations from friends. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC time. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The service was phenomenal (thank you Carly). The food was delicious and we appreciate the different tastes from the chef. Make sure to order the chocolate chip cookie skillet for dessert! We definitely recommend H&B for a high quality dining experience. Loved it.

Five stars across the board. I want to quit my job and move to Myrtle beach so I can go to this restaurant every week. Our server, Daiquan(I’m sorry if I messed up your name I had a couple drinks) was SO knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. Super friendly and attentive service all around, and a wonderful atmosphere. My hats off to the chefs as well, we were highly impressed with EVERYTHING we ate. From the pimento cheese, she crab soup, to the entrees and drinks, everything on the menu is so balanced and thought out. The only bittersweet moment of our night was that we were too full to try dessert.
