Our server was very nice, we got the breakfast buffet. It was awesome. There was more choices than I knew what to do with! The price is good, they are great with kids and attentive to the refills. We were very pleased and will visit often
The food is good! The reason for the four stars is the following. While it is a buffet there isn't much to choose from. They have a section for: soup, salad, a couple of proteins, and a vegetable/desert section. I found something and I did enjoy it but I wish there was more protein besides: fish, meatloaf, hamloaf, and chicken.
My husband and I had the buffet and there was a big variety of food that was hot and delicious 😋. My mother-in-law had a chicken platter and she got so much food she couldn't finish it.
Clean, well lit, well organized. Bakery has fresh items (including chocolate cake w/ peanut butter icing, slices). Plus Meat & Seafood counter & Deli are always well stocked.
The hand cut fries were AMAZING & so was the clam chowder soup, & homemade tea!! The Mushroom Swiss burger was SEVERELY lacking on flavor, but I would definitely go back to try other options on the menu. Being from NJ, I am used to having a hundred great restaurants to choose from- but not so much in York Pa- where I live now. So the restaurant was better than any that I have tried around here. Keep in mind, this is a diner style restaurant as far as food choice, etc. I would recommend.
They have a nice pa Dutch style buffet. The food is hit and fresh and staff is friendly.
