We recently dined at Mikeys for the first time before going to Brookgreen Gardens. Mikey was super friendly and welcoming. He came over and chatted with us, he’s quite the comedian. We ordered a salad for the table and a large margarita pie with sausage. It was amazing! And the service was even better. We laughed so much our stomachs hurt! Can’t wait to go back!

Hands down the best pizza I've had since my visit to Italy. Why? Thin crust, wood fired, plentiful ingredients that are authentic (you can taste the difference)! As we walked out the door the guy behind the bar who I assume to be Mikey asked if it was good. I replied out of the park and he said he's been doing it for 54 years. I think I heard him say he is 78. This is an example of what makes America great in my opinion. The environment is like what I've experienced in Italy. Kinda homeish, laid back, and like your grandfolks house. The food is like wow! I saw the other dishes going out of the kitchen and they looked amazing.
Oh, and the lemoncello cake is spot on amazing. I'm going back soon!

The place could use some sprucing up, but the food and personal service can't be beat! There was only one waitress working the night we went, and she did an awesome job juggling all the tables and stayed pleasant despite the busyness. Uncle Mikey personally greeted us from behind the bar as we entered and came to the dining area twice while we were there to speak to patrons and publicly announce his appreciation for the waitress.

Handicap accessible, the owner makes you feel like family. I've only eaten food this wonderful in Menane, NC! Best Arnold Palmer I had my entire vacation in SC.The food was quickly prepared and served. My own dislike, the sign identifying the place. We past it three times before identifying it.

I have NO words for how amazing my food was from here tonight. Mikey was amazing, our pizza had the best flavor I’ve ever had, he suggested the BEST wine to go with it. He threw in all of the little things that made this place feel like I was sitting at the dinner table at home. He welcomed us like family. The desert was phenomenal also. If you want to dine somewhere where they make you feel like the only customer in the building, you should go here. Fresh, hot, & incredible flavors. It’s the best meal I’ve had here in the Murrels Inlet area thus far. You won’t regret a visit here! Mikey values God, family and hard work, and boy does it show in his restaurant!

Decent food but minor changes could bring it up. The dressing for the antipasto salad was just oil and vinegar, where were the seasonings? The garlic bread was a mini pizza and was very good. We were told the meatballs were made fresh that morning and were good but how about asking if we want anything else on the grinder? The bread for the grinders were very good. The eggplant grinder could have had a few more onions and peppers. Very nice people.

Terrific pizza! Ultra-crispy crust and an enormous amount of cheese with quality toppings. Even the soda was bubbly and fresh tasting. Some reviewers are critical of the appearance of the interior. Indeed, the place could use a bath and some updating, but all that is forgiven and becomes invisible when the product is superior, which is the case here!

Overall a great experience. The staff was very friendly and made sure that we didn't have any problems with our food. The pizzas are big ol 18 inch pizzas and they are very good. It deserves it's 4.7 star rating and I would gladly come here again.

Absolutely a wonderful dining experience! Our waiter was fantastic. We got to watch our pizza being made. The lasagna and the spaghetti were fabulous! We will definitely be coming back!
