The food was great! I can't go there very often as it's easy to overeat! Their desserts are amazing!

I went on Thanksgiving Day to have a late lunch with friends. I have never been here before and found the food was delicious and the desserts we're yummy. But what was the most amazing was their drip coffee. It was so much better than I expected! I didn't eat as much as I would have liked so I'm going to have to go back again when I'm back in Utah. I feel bad that the employees had to work on Thanksgiving but they all had a really good attitude. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner the week before so I could go to Utah and visit my daughter. Since I already had turkey the week before, I chose the roast beef and it was tender and juicy and very delicious! While I didn't have the french fries my daughter tells me that they are the best french fries in Utah. I tried several of the side dishes they have like mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and several different vegetables they had. In order to try so many things I had to put very small portions on my plate because there are so many LOL! While my daughter is in college, there were many people there with young children. I feel that the food, the helpful employees, and the overall atmosphere of the other people dining there made it a memorable experience. One I hope to have again soon.

This was my son and I 1st time to experience Thanksgiving dinner, and I must say it met my expectations completely!.. I was so surprised at All of the varieties of side dishes that were displayed, amongst all the salad bar, and especially the wonderful cilantro lime dressing which I had never had before so tasty , along with the soups, desserts, their delicious rolls, the main course of turkey, roast beef, and delicious ham.. I was truly amazed at everything that was served.. service was great too.. I will definitely be coming back next year for Thanksgiving 🦃 again! Thanks again for an outstanding job and for those people who prepared all the delicious food!

This is your typical buffet, but better than most other competitor buffets like Golden Corral. I think they could flavor some of their items a little better (corn, green beans, etc) as they were really bland, but they had such a variety of other foods that you could find something you like. I personally loved the warm rolls and the honey butter and cinnamon butter. It was the perfect yeast roll! The dessert bar is heaven if you like chocolate. My only complaint is some of the serving spoons were left on the tray so the handle was actually so hot it left a slight burn on my hand. I think staff may want to walk around a little more and move spoons when people put them back the wrong way. Other than that, we had a nice meal!

My husband and I where in town for a few days and decided to give this place a try definitely worth it one price includes it all your meal your drink and dessert 😋 the food was fantastic. Loved the fried chicken and the pot roast was so tender. My husband and I loved the carrot cake,lemon meringue pie, and the german chocolate cake. I wish we had a Chuck-A-Rama in San Antonio. But definitely go check them out there's something for everyone.

The food tastes good and the ingredients are fresh! And the food is cold or less staff will be replaced and added in time! Overall feeling good!
The downside is that the types of food is not enough（But this is my own reason, some of the food is good but not my favorite,）

The food wasn't bad, but some things just didn't seem fresh. The Lettuce was wilted, and several things were out - to be fair, it was busy. For lunch, the price wasn't bad at all, but the selection wasn't great. The staff was amazing! Our server was friendly, on the ball, and very respectful. She also seemed as though she liked her job, which is important in my opinion - it means they have a good working atmosphere. I would go again, but I would try a dinner selection.

Came for fathers day dinner, they did a good job getting all those people seated the line moved fast. I haven't ate at Check a Rama for a long time and I thought there was more of a selection for food but there wasn't. I still enjoyed what they did have... Restaurant was clean and the employees were nice.

We've gone there for probably 40 years and are never disappointed with their service, quality and flavors of food, and low prices using discounts and serving ourselves. We do give reasonable gratuities to attendants who have worked serving us with greetings and care.

Stopped there during our road trip to Colorado. While this is not fine food, it’s decent and overall good value for the money spent.
Roast turkey, ham and beef. Oven and crispy chicken, fried shrimps, cod, several pasta dishes (lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs, alfredo), mashed potatoes, cornbread, mac&cheese,…
And a big salad buffet.
