My wife and I dropped in to Sal's for an early dinner. We had wanted to eat at Sal's but just hadn't gone in until today. We were immediately greeted and seated by Rick( Sal sold it to Rick). Him and his staff were very professional and friendly. We ordered the large meat lover's pizza. Let me tell you, it was fantastic! No, seriously, this was one of best pizzas we've ever had. I highly recommend supporting this local business with the big city taste. We'll be back soon Rick( where's Sal?)

Love Sals. GREAT pizza and pasta. comfortable Brooklyn I-Talian Joint. Try it and go back! Oh Sal's Hoagie is about The best darned hoagie I ever had. Oh - wait - the Canollis - I'd kill a guy and dump his body In a field near the Hudson River for one of Sal's Canollis.

Rich is the boss and owner of Sal's. He will always do everything he can in order to provide the best food possible. Service is excellent. His crew he has working are very good and you know you are getting good food, good service and a nice place to take friends and family or co-workers. My favorite food in all of Murphy. Rich KNOWS GOOD PIZZA, AND HIS LUNCH SPECIALS ARE AWESOME! His whole pies and his calzones are the best in WNC, NGA, and ETN.

This pizza ties with Huck-A-Poos on Tybee Island for the best pizza I've ever had. This, of course, is my opinion based on what I like. We will be stopping in every time we're in the area. The crust is perfect and the flavors are authentic. The garlic knots were delicious too! Although it was our first time there, we were made to feel like all of the regulars we encountered. Highly recommend giving this place your business!

I and my two boys are up from Florida after Hurricane Idalia wrecked our small coastal town of Perry. After hitting the mini golf place, we pulled into the plaza and walked into Sal’s for some pizza and calzones. 10/10 recommend this place, everything was excellent and amazing. I am a native new Englander, reminded me of home. Thank you “Not Sal” for the hospitality and friendly face. Staff was very accommodating and polite.

It’s really great to find actual New York style pizza in the hills of North Carolina. I recommend adding extra sauce. The only small thing I question is, normally the crust is a bit thicker at the edge then tapper to thin towards the center. It’s not at all a deal breaker just a personal preference. Definitely my new go to pizza spot in Murphy.

I’m normally not a NY style kinda pizza guy. But after it was suggested by a local that lives in Murphy, my friend and I decided to give it a shot. I gotta say it was one the best thinner crust pizzas I’ve Had. And I’m a pizza kinda guy My buddy got the spaghetti with meatballs and absolutely loved it. Our server was amazing and the speed and and price was great. Will definitely return when back to Murphy
