Such a great place to grab a quick breakfast. The staff really liked each other and moved like a well oiled machine. Everyone was very friendly and the food was delicious!!

Similar to Waffle House, same quality food and interior. There's a little for everyone.
It does get very busy so expect to wait uncomfortably standing by the door.
There's plenty of parking.

Husband and I are traveling the country and we stopped here for breakfast. Waitress was sweet. Business was consistently busy. Biscuits and gravy was our favorite. Bacon was crispy, hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which I love. Have to try the biscuit by itself. You will not regret it. Everything was flavored well. Definitely recommend. Be prepared to smell like a fry cook by the time you leave. We noticed it when we got in the truck. The food is so worth it.

We were back in the mountains and chose the Royal Waffle King, a favorite over the years, for our late breakfast. The staff had changed but were attentive and responsive. The food was delivered timely and tasted great. We'll come back here again.

Sammie was a great waitress!! She took great care of me and my son. First time coming here. Food was hot and delicious!! I read reviews before coming in to eat. They were spot on. I’ll definitely come back when I come back to Murphy. Thanks again Sammie for you great service and the cooks that made a delicious breakfast!

Had to go see why this place is always packed. Well, the food is great, the portions are big, the service was fantastic, clean. Owner has done a great job with their staff, they are all working hard with smiles on all of their faces.

We first went to waffle house a block away. It was packed but we were able to get a seat. The counter and a few tables wasn't clean. As we glanced in the kitchen it was filthy!! We got out of there.
We saw Waffle King - never been there before.
They were busy but the lady greeted us immediately and told us it would be a few minutes. They constantly was cleaning, sweeping and the kitchen was clean.
Our server was kind and attentive.
Only complaint - they needed seasoning in the eggs and grits needed to be thicker.
Overall nice for a quick breakfast.

We sat at the front table at the walk thru. Food was delicious, the two young ladies that greeted us and helped with the doors were extremely exuberant. Their customer skills impeccable. They would truly be an asset wherever they choose to be employed. We will definitely be going back. I would appreciate talking to the owner on some other items. The country fried steak is quite good. Thank you.

Went here on a whim with family and it turned out to be the best breakfast spot of our trip! The service was amazing and very welcoming and friendly! A local diner even gave up his booth for my party since we needed two tables! I will come here again and I want to try lunch next time!

Wonderful, quick food. Artfully cooked, and they even have nice presentation, considering it's just diner food. My hamburger steak was EXCELLENTLY cooked. Even though it wasn't the highest quality meat, I would have loved to see the cook do it again with some 100% lean beef chuck!
Also, they serve Belgian waffles here, which are way better than Waffle House.
Side note: very clean and good-smelling bathrooms.
