Genghis Grill

I love coming here and creating a new meal each time. They always have a wide variety of delicious pickings, it's always cooked perfectly, and it's just a great experience. It's been awhile since I've had the chance to visit and I'm so excited they have liquor again. The drink was so good, I didn't want to stop at one.

This is an amazing place to eat. I am vegan and I find the food that I like and it's delicious. They always accommodate. Our server asked us about food allergies and when my best friend told her I'm vegan, she made sure my food was cooked away from any animal products. She understood. She was very friendly and very helpful. The food is always so good and I have plenty to take home and have later. So many options to choose from. Me and my bestfriend come here often to enjoy conversation and great food. Recommend 100%

Worst takeout ever. Service was good but the food was horrible. Ordered the fried rice supreme. The food had no taste or seasoning or flavor at all. I hate wasting food but this food just had to be trashed. Eat some and just could not eat the rest or save it - not worth it. I ordered a large and they gave a huge quantity and will never order at Genghis ever again. First and last time. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is how it works. They give you a metal bowl and you walk through a buffet of raw ingredients and you fill the bowl with what you want, then they cook it for you. Interesting concept, however... The first station is raw meat: steak, chicken, pork, shrimp, etc. 12 kinds of raw meat, all sitting right next to each other, with tongs haphazardly sitting in the little bins of raw meat. Of course there were chunks of chicken in the beef, hmm. Everyone that came before you has touched these tongs which have also been touching the raw meats. Then onto the seasoning station; with a bunch of seasoning shakers that everyone that has come before you has touched, after they touched the raw meat tongs. Then onto the vegetable station, where you use tongs to grab the raw vegetables, with tongs that everyone else that has come before you has touched after using the raw meat tongs and raw meat juice covered seasoning shakers. You then dump the vegetables of your choice on top of your raw meats. The next station is the sauce, there you ladle your sauce of choice into a small ramekin, using ladles that (sigh) everyone that came before you has touched with their sticky meat juice nasty hands. Then you hand it all off cooks to cook it, they toss the sauce on last and dump it all on some rice. Of course I immediately washed my hands after preparing my raw meat bowl, but the people in front of me did not... In theory, everything is cooked to the proper temperature... I feel fine so far, but I will never go back there again. The food was not even that good. The "steak" was grisly and over cooked. It was also under seasoned, and the sauce was not spicy enough, though I can only blame myself for that. I used to be a cook. I found the whole process unsanitary. Untrained customers should never be handling raw meat. The service was fine.
