Despite some negative reviews we decided to give Main Street Pizza a shot tonight. I arrived just after 7pm on a Monday night. They were clearly pretty busy. It probably didn't help that the other pizza place seems to be closed on Mondays. There are a lot of negative reviews about getting through on the phones. They do have a sign up stating that if they don't answer it's because they're busy. If you're close, it's probably best to place your order in person. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a calzone in person. We ran to the grocery store and it was ready when we got back in 30min. Both were quite good. Other than the employee's attitude/shortness with customer's, the food was good. It's obvious they are short staffed, so give them a break and have appropriate expectations before placing an order.

Solid pizza place. Good quality round pizza with multiple topping options. Vegetarian pizza options. Staff were kind. Recommended that you walk in to order cause they are usually very busy at meal times.

Decent place! We tried half-and-half chicken fajita and five meat. Both were delicious. This is an understaffed place for holiday weekends like Labor Day.

Main Street Pizza in Munising provides ample portions. Take out only, which fits the humble building housing this restaurant. Expect a calzone to be more than a pizza folded in half. Understand why they advertise for more help. Staff a bit surly. Took 20 minutes to get food as a walk in. Posted sign warns they may not answer the phone.

Excellent pizza with LOTS of toppings. My husband loves meat and they did not skimp on meat! I ordered a pizza not on the menu (roast beef, peppers and onions) and it was excellent! A super nice & helpful off-the-clock employee (day off) was eating and even went and got our pizza for us while we were waiting at our table.

Excellent pizza. Friendly service. Laid-back atmosphere. Recommended by our hotel staff. The phone was ringing off the hook, but that seems to be part of the aura of the place, bc there was a sign stating they wouldn't answer if they were busy! 😄 They were busy, too. There was nowhere for our family of 5 to sit. So we ordered and came back to pick up in 30 min. No biggie for us; we enjoyed driving around Munising.

Suck one if you talking about bad customer service. These people are HARD working. Constantly busy. Took me a couple phone calls, but they answered. Ordered a 16" pepperoni pizza. AMAZING. Got inside and they were all actual sweethearts. Have gotten pizza from every place in town, this place takes the cake. Will never order from anywhere else in town!! They even accidentally made an extra breadstick order and instantly offered it to me for free. THANK YOU SO MUCH MAIN STREET PIZZA KITCHEN STAFF! YALL ARE AMAZING. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

We ordered a pizza to take to our campsite for dinner. The crust is thin the way I like it. The gal on the oven was working hard. Monitoring the cooking process and poking the big bubbles with a fork. Our pizza was a bit undercooked as the center was doughy but the rest of it was delicious. We had plenty for dinner and some leftover for the next day. When we walked in no one acknowledged us for a while. Not a head nod,nothing. So that was not a good first impression. The pizza made up for the lack of greeting. While we didnt order a sub they looked delicious coming out of the oven! Maybe I just caught them on an off day service wise. I would recommend stopping by if you are hungry for good puzza!

This pizza was outstanding! We got the speciality pizza and we loved it! We called our order in and went and picked it up since they currently aren't delivering. It only took about 20 minutes for it to be ready, and it was dinner time on Saturday night, so we're were fed very quickly! We took our pizza back to our hotel. The staff was kind enough to offer is plates and red pepper flakes as well! This pizza was so full of toppings! The crust was fluffy and crisp! The cheese was so melty! And the toppings! So many! And so good! My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner! I would gladly eat here again and highly recommend it if you are in the area! Next time I want to try one of their oven toasted subs!
