Tin Lizard Bar & Grill

What an absolute pleasant surprise this place was! Stopped at the hotel for the night (traveling from LA to CO). Was planning to eat at the steakhouse in the casino but it was closed the whole day. Went to the Tin Lizard thinking we would end up eating burgers or wings. There menu had plenty of good looking plates. Our food was absolutely delicious!!! Top quality! Cooked beautifully! My salad was even amazing! Staff was awesome too.

Food was terrible and took forever. The place was not very busy. We ordered a steak and it was so bad we couldn't chew it. Ordered a pizza and asked for no onions and the order came out with loads of onions. Waitress was really nice and told the manager. However nothing was done. You are better off eating at the deli next door.

Food has gone down hill in the last month. Used to enjoy eating here but not sure I'll be back. Last week had the tenderloin special, it was way overcooked and tough.. Spouse's entire meal of burger and fries was cold. Now tonight the chicken addition to the salad was 4 small pieces. Manager says that's right, 4 ounces! It was more like 1 ounce. Manager was smug and dismissive, but gave a discount of .76! Sad as this restaurant had improved over the last year, but now going back down hill.

So far so good. It isn't the most energetic place but the beer is cold the girls are cute and the food seems relatively decent. If you are here to relax and people watch the spot to be, acting like a party animal on the other hand, ehh probably seek else where. Regardless it's a nice hid away spot. I'll be back later to tell you more.

We were the ones who had horrible experience in this place, horrible I mean it. Everything was wrong. Half of cocktails from the menu were unavailable due to absence of ingredients. Every time we picked out something, it happened to be unavailable, either at once or after the waitress came back, anyway nothing that we could consider from menu was there. It took maybe 20 min to figure out what was still there, we just tried options to get some drinks, already not what we really wanted. When the drinks were finally served, we were shocked. They were in small plastic cups!! Really?? When food came, again problems, bacon was missing on burger as well as mayonnaise on a side. Salad had extremely suspicious taste (like old or with something rotten in it) that waitress refused to acknowledge, saying that it was fresh. Fresh good salad can not taste like that. We asked for manager. He showed up, we complained about the issues, he fixed one out of all. He also promised us to check on availability of drinks, we never saw him again, never, though we were sitting there maybe for another half an hour. Customer service is unacceptable, food is average (and not cheap as it is casino), if you ever get your order in a correct way. We highly do not recommend Tin Lizard to anyone. If only you want to be frustrated and spoil your vacations/day off, then it is your place.
