The Oaxacan Kitchen

I recently learned about The Oaxacan Kitchen when they sponsored a local charity auction event for "charity: water". After checking out the excellent reviews I proposed this restaurant when my mother-in-law was in town and we had a baby-sitter. Since we hadn't done much planning ahead, we didn't have reservations. Apparently this is a popular place because all their inside seating was either taken or waiting for somebody with reservations. Fortunately for us, they had some outside seating with plenty of heating. We even got to meet the owner when he came out to help fire up the heaters. We quickly discovered that mole dishes were one of their specialty so had to order a few different ones. We were not disappointed. I would recommend trying the mole sampler dish, and calling ahead for reservations if you care to sit inside (the space is pretty small).
