Taco Mama - Crestline

Visited my best friend this past weekend and she brought me to this place. It’s a cute, laid back atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is delicious! The drinks are superb! (Seriously the drinks are really good) The customer service was also top notch, whenever I am visiting again it will definitely be one of my go to spots. Decent prices and food amount is appropriate to price. I had the chicken taco, shrimp taco, street corn and chips with queso. I also had a sangrita and a pomegranate drink. Highly recommend.

The food is good and this franchise is busy, so I completely understand certain delays and such, however, service should not be as unapologetically inattentive and frustrating for a customer as it was last night. I waited in sight of the counter for 40 plus minutes. I was so hungry, so very very hungry. I politely asked the staff if my food had been prepared yet. They turned around, looking for several minutes and grabbed a sack of food sitting for 10 minutes? 20? 30? and handed it to me. All they said was "couldn't find you." Yes, this a busy place, but it's small and I was holding my red block up like Rafiki holding up baby Simba on Pride Rock. An apology would be very nice.I still ate the food and it was good if not warm, but it was a frustrating event.

I wish I could give this review 0 stars. I ordered my usual “go to” meal from taco mama. Thank you for putting the chips on the bottom which helped soak up the pool of grease in the bottom. The taco shell was completely saturated in grease and uneatable. I ended up scraping out the taco meat (squeezing the grease out first) and putting them on chips I had at home. You made Taco Bell look gourmet. And how does anyone mess up corn. 🤮
