What a wonderful dining experience. It was definitely a hometown place as it supported its local schools in the decor throughout the restaurant. My wife had the grilled meatloaf, and in her words, " this is the best meatloaf I've ever eaten". The portion was huge and fresh, with the sides very ample as well. I had the livers, which I love. These were good, but not very well breaded, the mashed potatoes were small portioned, but overall a good meal. Server was kind, not pesky and treated us very well.

Excellent restaurant about 4 miles off of HWY 75 and totally worth it! My husband and I shared the cheese curds, fried green tomatoes, and pork loin dinner with onion rings and fried okra. Everything was fresh and perfectly fried! The pork loin was juicy, and the tea was sweet:) Our server April was friendly and helped us order some of the best things on the menu! We also got the deer hunters cake and peanut butter pie. My favorite was the cheese curds, best I've ever had!!!

Over priced cheap food. Not seeing anthing I wanted but was with friends had very little cash with me so I just ordered french fries some I don't fix at home often. I odered just a good portion of fries; the price was somewhere above $3. & water. The fries came in a plastic basket it was more than a good portion it was way more than needed or expected and I shared with others because of it. Imagine my surprise when the bill came and was nearly $7. 😳 did I ask for two orders NO! Was I told it would be two portions NO! Or the cost. I simply expected more than 8 to ten french fries. Don't plan to be back and prefer my own cooking. But the fries were ok.
