Steak 'n Shake

As others stated...seems like owners just abandoned it to employees with no leadership. 1. Stop touching the straws and putting them into drinks..this is not 1950. 2. " Ketchup only" on a cheeseburger doesn't mean no cheese.... hamburger=no cheese: cheeseburger=cheese. 3. Using tamper proof stickers on the side of a bag does nothing for tamper resistance. Just don't bother to go here.

Waited in drive thru for more than 20 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me. Not serving inside so that shouldn’t have been an issue. Got to window given wrong order. Had ordered 3 shakes which were not good . More whipped cream than ice cream. Server told us her machine was not working good ordered chocolate shake because they had no malt. It was like a vanilla shake. My grandsons Kit Kat shake was the same. Will never patronize them again. Tried to call to speak to manager no answer. Poor poor service and product.

The place is fine. The people were professional. I used to like steak and shake but the place changed with no more very berry milkshake, syrup instead of fresh fruit s and, or the menu was short compared of what I am used to.Especially when your preferred lunch is not on the list anymore. I am far from complaining in this particular world situation. Just what it is.

This steak and shake is terrible, its like its just been abandoned. Not sure they have a franchise owner or a manager at the Randhurst location. They close whenever they want. Like hours earlier than posted closing times and the food lacks any real care. Which at a Steak and Shake makes me think it's probably not edible.

It was the most pleasurable service that we is that we got for long time Especially one of the managers this lady name is Christi and she is the most professional professional service manager that I have deal with last couple of years it's good to see thank you for making myself and my family feel extremely comfortable thank you for your professionalism and your kindness CHRISTI

Love this steak n shake in Mount Prospect! Open 24 hours, clean, great for quick burgers or if your craving a milk shake! I thought and I'd try something different and order their footlong dog..so.good. I asked for grilled onions on top, best request ever. Washed it down with a reese's peanut butter cup shake. My husband got the Wisconsin butter burger.Good size, good price.

I came to this Steak n’ Shake with my mom and youngest son (4). When you come to a steak n’ shake, you have to understand that your expectations are reflective of a meal at a pseudo fast-food restaurant. We received good service from a friendly server. The food was not the best for a steak ‘n shake. My burger seemed a bit undercooked but I also like my stuff more well-done in general. My kid’s Mac n’ Cheese wasn’t as good as we’ve had at other locations either. I hope the next time we visit this location I can adjust my review to a higher rating.
