Was around the area for Publix and stumbled upon Hunan for some chinese food. We had their shrimp lo mein , chicken wings, szechaun beef for the wife and general tsao chicken for the kids. I can 100% say that everyone agreed that this was the best chinese food we ever had. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their Lo Mein and Fried Chicken Wings. Best chinese food around!!! HIDDEN GEM

It’s not easy trying to find good Chinese food in South Carolina. Originally from New York, I wanted to find somewhere authentic and similar to the flavors up North. This place is IT. If anyone is looking for authenticity this is the place!

The best Chinese food in town. I've lived in Mount Pleasant for over 20 years and just recently discovered Hunan Chinese Restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious. The kids keep asking everyday for Hunan. The wait time was a little longer but that is because everyone knows it's the best!

Was good. Check your order before you leave. I ordered shrimp lo mein and got chicken. It was good though. The egg rolls and chicken wings were really good as well.

The few negative reviews have almost ZERO to do with the food and everything to do with people complaining about slow deliveries (during a pandemic!). The menu and product is exactly the same as every other Chinese takeout place. But the food is always fresh and the Asian staff are always kind and professional. I'm a lifelong East Cooper resident an have tried everywhere. This is the most reliable by far!

Hunan Beef combo pictured. Good food for the price. Fried wings are on the dry side. Fried rice is on the dark side. Not particularly flavorful since Hunan sauce should have black beans.

Food is delicious. Fantastic customer service. I ordered delivery. They did forget my drink but when I called they were polite and offered credit. The delivery driver was also willing to go out of his way to go buy me a drink. Would definitely recommend.

This place is luh-git. I just moved from Chicago and know good food. Needed to find a solid local Chinese place....Tried them out tonight. Can't believe how inexpensive/reasonable their prices were so I gave them a try. Food was piping hot when I picked it up. Very good flavors, good packaging/attention to detail. The whole family was in the back cokking together when I arrived. My kind of place! If you give me piping hot food that tastes great, and no mistakes on the order, I'm a happy man. Consider me smitten, Hunan!

Clean. Great service. Best chicken broccoli I've tasted in SC. Their food is fresh off the stove. I didn't have to wait to dine in. The people are nice. A small plate fills you up. Not too busy.
