Highland Street Cafe - Mount Dora - Photo album

Highland Street Cafe appears to be a house converted into a restaurant. It is a solid choice for homemade breakfast, offering traditional fluffy and delicious pancakes, omelettes, grits and breakfast burritos. We were seated immediately on a Friday morning, and our server was prompt and polite. Foo
I absolutely loved this diner! We stumbled on in on a day trip to Mount Dora, and I am so glad we decided to go in. First things first - I loved the homey feel of the restaurant and all of the dog themed decorations! We were sat at a cozy table almost right away by a friendly host. Our waitress was
Delicious breakfast, fresh and fast! I appreciate perfectly poached eggs and velvety hollandaise on my eggs Benedict! Great home fries and omelette too!
Great breakfast place! Hot chocolate was delicious, not watered down, great and thick home made whipped cream. In my 14-year-old twins words: “Best hot chocolate we have had in a while”. The Strawberry stuffed French toast was fried, crispy and delectable! The sweetness of the strawberries, and th

Mushroom cheese omelet was fantastic, hash browns and bacon were cooked perfectly, sausage gravy was excellent. Pancakes here are not my favorite, good but not aweso
