The fried shrimp is same as the kind you get out of the freezer section at your local supermarket. The catfish was good, but portions are very small for the money. Was told the oysters were pretty good. The service was great, which is the only reason I gave it 3 stars but, if you're looking for really good seafood, go somewhere else.

Their fried seafood is great. Their gumbo is hit or miss with more hits than misses. It's always different, but I guess that's what brings the charm to the place. The service is usually good. Been going here for the past 15 years and I keep coming back. Be sure to bring cash or check! No plastic taken.

We came here on a whim looking for a nice seafood meal. Not what we ended up with at all. We ordered fried crab claws, stuffed crab, and two baked potatoes. The crab claws were hard and broke in half when bit into. The crab cake tasted like the breading was the same breading used when you'd make country fried steak with some mystery meat inside. Our 'loaded' baked potato had a slice of kraft laid inside of it instead of shredded cheese. We were told no refunds, and paid $50+ for a meal we couldn't even eat. We ended up at Ruby Tuesday down the street, talked to the waitress there who recommended Cornerstone. We'll definitely try that place next time we go for seafood.

hands down the worst seafood dining experience i've had. i went around 7pm on a friday. ordered a half dozen oysters...that was a mistake. i was only able to eat about 3 of them. and i love oysters! they looked like they had been shucked that morning and were just left to sit out. 3 of the 6 were so flat and dried out that you could barely tell there was an oyster on the shell. i managed to scrape 3 of them out that had a little meat on them. terrible. for my main meal i ordered the boiled shrimp. they were decent at best. most of them had the shells literally sticking to the meat. so when i peeled them, half of the meat would be left stuck to the shell. i was born and raised in new orleans so i grew up on seafood. with as much as i've had i've never had shrimp or oysters like this. i think the corn that came with the shrimp was the best part of the meal. on second thought..the beer was the best part. i would advise against going here. oh and they only accept cash.
