Taco Bell

I am a regular at this store and have eaten Taco Bell my entire life. I continue to go to this store and find that there is a strong lack of communication and efficiency. I’ve had many days where I’ve stood in the lobby for 20 minutes waiting for someone to recognize me and take my order which can be very frustrating. I’ve had food served that was messy and thrown together, which is often a disappointment after the really long wait times. For example, today I stood in the lobby for almost 30 minutes waiting for my food to come out. I ordered the deluxe cravings box, and got a bland chalupa with barely any steak and a Doritos Locos Taco that had a strange cinnamon taste to it. On top of that, the cost for the box was $8, which is a lot for poor quality food. Disappointed. I’m rooting for this store’s improvement. Once again, I’m a lifelong Taco Bell fan. I have found that a few of the staff members are very kind and cordial, but there’s definitely lots of room for improvement. I've never had these problems at other Taco Bell's I've eaten at. This place has really gone down hill with the people they have decided to hire. I know there is a staffing shortage, but this is just beyond unacceptable. My family ordered 3 cravings boxes, through the mobile app, and since we do not care for the ground beef, we swap it for beans. Upon entering the store and getting our drinks, one employee working the food line was VERY loud in his complaining about our swaps and how that was just too much. Seriously? Swapping the beef for beans is too much for you? This wouldn't be that bad, accept this guy was using my name while he was doing it! I walked up to the counter to see what was going on and why my name was being used over and over in such a way, and was told he was "being talked to". Considering the way this person had been going on and on, we asked for a refund which we did get because we did not trust that a person like that would't intentionally mess with our food. We were also told that he would be written up for his conduct. The shift lead was very understanding, however the manager didn't bother to come out and talk to us nor did I get the sense that anything will really be done. Stay far away from this place, and if you must go to a Taco Bell, trek over to the Pullman store, as the management at this one clearly cannot keep their employees from treating customers in an unacceptable manner.
