Sangria Grille

One of our favorite restaurants in the Palouse! I order the sweet corn humitas with the spicy green sauce every time I go. On this last visit we had an excellent bartender named Nick who treated us with a experimental pisco cinnamon drink. It was so tasty! Everything on the menu is fantastic but our personal favorites are lomo saltado and chaufa. Highly recommend this place, it's a gem.

My wife and I ordered both the ruby and the golden “sangrias” and they were incredibly great. As a starter, I recommend the Calamari. For the main plates, the Peruvian Paella was well done and did not take long to make. “The Shrimp Scampi was spicy but awesome!” My son said. The Lomo Saltado was succulent. It is definitely something that I am going to order next time. And lastly, this restaurant is tip-free, joining Maialina and Lodgepole for restaurants in Moscow that do not encourage tips. This place is worth having lunch or dinner at.

We used to like Sangria but after 2 not so great experiences we may not go again. The first bad experience was when they were still open for inside service. They never did bring our drinks.. after asking a couple times. But we gave them another try. We went yesterday, to get a couple orders of avocado wraps for pick up. After they took our order they said it'd be 15-20. This was at 5:25. So we pulled in (20min later)at 5:45 and texted we were there. They responded that they'd be out shortly.... waited...waited..I finally called them to let them know we'd called 42 minutes earlier with the order and reminded them of which parking spot we were in. ( 6:07pm) We were the only ones that showed up for food the whole time. They said they'd be right out. They did come out within the next few minutes. It appears they forgot about us... food was cold. We brought it home and put it on the grill so it wasn't mushy.

Every visit is a good experience. The food is exceptional, it really stands out relative to other restaurants in the area. Slightly higher pricing than most restaurants in Moscow. I don't mind paying a little more because their food is so good. I also like how they do not assign one server to a table. Many times I am helped by multiple servers and this makes the experience short and easy. I have never had to wait for a check or a refill on a drink. Sangria is my go to place for a date with my wife when visiting Moscow.
