Boba Theory

An unexpected find and I was pleasantly surprised! I had a large honeydew slushy with rainbow jelly and my niece had the matcha slushy why aloe jelly and they were both delicious! We also ordered desert to go and found both to be great as well. I had the cheese danish with no icing and ordered a blueberry muffin for breakfast they next day. The muffin was huge, and tasted great. Mild flavor which allowed you to really take the blueberries. The restaurant was really clean, including the restroom. They have a really nice patio that faces the street, which can be loud at times due to the busy intersection and nearby train, but still totally enjoyable. The service matched the rest of the experience and was quite personable and friendly. I will definitely be back for a return visit.

Love this place! The staff is always really nice and my order is always right. I love their drinks and they’re right up the road which is convenient when I want a quick boba fix. I also have to say…if you have “serious allergies” it may be worth mentioning that to the people making your beverages. Not their fault that you don’t disclose that information. In my experience, they have always asked me if I wanted whole milk, but regardless, if I have an allergy, I’m going to be asking questions/making requests specific to my restrictions before even ordering an item meant for consumption. If you’re seriously allergic to dairy…why are you going to consume a drink with WHIPPED CREAM on top? (Just sounds like somebody trying to get free stuff.)

Like most boba tea shops, this one has a very hipster, modern vibe to it. Of course, the boba tea itself is great. It's hard to go wrong with boba tea. And I like the create your own boba thing they have. There are a lot of places in Northern Morrow and Lake City where you can get boba, but to my knowledge, this is the only standalone boba place around. And overall, it ain't bad.

I’ve never been disappointed by Boba Theory! Consistently great boba tea, my absolute favorite bubble tea restaurant I’ve been to out of dozens that I’ve visited. Nicely decorated and I imagine it’s a nice place to sit and study or just relax. Their lavender earl grey milk tea is excellent and I heavily recommend it. Service is always quick and the drinks are always up to par.

I usually go to Boba Lubu Tea in Eagles landing and decided to try this place out since I was in the area. When I got there the drive through line was out in the street so I called and placed an order for a Large Thai tea with Extra Boba. I pulled into the parking on the left of the building and headed in. I was greeted by a sweet young Asian woman and picked up my order in about 5 minutes from the time my order was placed. Total was around $5.60 for what may have been around 16oz. Pros: The Thai tea was so creamy yet light and sweetened well. I did not need to purchase extra boba because they were already generous. They have a drive through! Customer Service was amazing from the guy who took my order to the girl who took my payment. Clean establishment Cons: The tapioca itself didn’t have much flavor and was slightly undercooked. When I bit into the tapioca, I could taste the starch that didn’t get to cook all the way. I prefer a gummy boba taste and to be able to bite straight through the boba and have the same texture. The wait in the drive through would have been long but they worked very quickly here. I may try one more time if I’m ever craving boba while in the Morrow area (do notttt get Boba tea at that place in Southlake mall. You will regret it 😫) but I definitely won’t be replacing my usual spot. Over all I would give this place a 7-7.5/10.
