Chubby's Pizza

Had a steak hoagie, pizza sauce, onion, pickles and cheese. My go to at most small pizza shops for lunch. Wasn't very busy at 2:30, the kid taking my order was friendly and quick. The hoagie was fast and hot just like it should be on an oven toasted crispy bun. Wouldn't call it a 5 star experience but for what it was, it's worth 5 stars on here.

Edit: we no longer live in town, but have to check on elderly family in town weekly. We’ve come back to chubby’s a couple times since moving. They’re slowly improving and we haven’t had any problems since. Very welcoming environment now, and food’s made correctly and still hot and fresh by the time we get it. Chance after chance after chance after chance we give them, something always goes wrong. We give details on how we want the food made or what we don’t want on/in the food. Yet, somehow it’s always wrong. We live not even five minutes down the road and yet we’d rather order from South Leb and drive down there instead of having to waste gas on multiple trips down here. I’d be spending the same on gas as just driving down there. This time, it took 30+ minutes after watching other people walk in, walk to the register, order, pay, get their orders, and leave. I wouldn’t mind if it was a big complicated order, but three things? Come on. When I have to drive back and get an attitude from the managers about my food being made wrong and then made wrong again after they “fixed” it. I’ve worked busy food industry jobs, bars, restaurants, fast food even, and yet I’ve never treated a customer like they do when they have to remake food. Get it right the first time and you won’t have to remake it.
