We found this bakery online trying to see if we could find an authentic French Bakery having just spent a month in France. This is our third try and is definitely the closest, but alas still falls short of the real thing. The breakfast sandwiches were tasty, but very dry. The croissant was overly browned, although adequately flaky and so far the best we’ve found here in Ca. The baguette is definitely not crusty like a French baguette, but similar to what you’d pick up in a grocery store. The pear tart, not quite what we had expected, but lovely, efficient staff and good coffee.

Excellent, inexpensive sandwiches, salads, pastries and pies. Coffee is good, view stunning, crowd highly people-watchable.

Can I give 6 stars? I LOVE this place! Pick up one of their amazing breakfast croissants or a pastry and go across the street to watch the sea otters. Pure joy

Fun little bakery. The staff was attentive and happy for a busy weekend. They kept it clean and tidy. My croissant was fair and her provencal could have been more flavorful. The primary item in both dishes is egga and the eggs had no flavor. The coffee (Latte) was average. Skip the sausage puffs...
The prices are unbeatable. So, if you would like an inexpensive place to get average eats, this place will not disappoint.

This is my favorite bakery around. Everything is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly. The coffee is great. The fruit tarts are my favorite.

So far I've only had a few things (quiche, fruit tart, and fruit and cream filled croissant), but everything I've had is just delicious. The service is great too. I will try to remember to take a picture before eating it all next time, but I keep forgetting till after since it's so good.

So many pastries. I want to try them all. I had a breakfast croissant with eggs and cheese. It was made fast. The croissant was buttery and flakey. Yum! I also had a hot mocha with oat milk. It was pretty good, like 7 out of 10. I took 2 cookies to go. They were yummy too. I like this place and the view is amazing. I would go again.

This "hidden" gem has THE best French onion soup you'll ever have. Have it with the croutons they provide for it: the combination is amazing. While you're there, try their beef burgundy sandwich because it goes so well with the soup. For dessert or take out, try their caramel oatmeal cookies, so good! All the food is good, but start your exploration with the food reviewed here it's a great starting point for newbies.

Matt, the owner is an awesome guy with a big smile and an amazing sense of customer service. I came when the store was closed, but he welcomed me and offered me a piece of frozen bread and 4 chocolate truffles as a gift since the cash register was not turned on. The dark chocolate truffles were generous and not too sweet, the best ones I had in years (and I am French). I would have bought everything in the store. The pies looked absolutely delicious. I will come back with my entire family to try everything.
