The food and drinks here were surprisingly good. My salad had plenty of toppings, and the tater tots were nice and crispy. Our server was fast and did a nice job separating our checks, even though we had 15 people. I do think the food was overpriced, but the drinks were a reasonable price. The bathroom is outside and shared with people on the docks, which is also a bummer. Overall, though, it was a nice place to eat overlooking the lake.
Their fish tacos are out of this world and the views may be a close second. It's so neat being able to sit on top of the Lake and enjoy a great meal out in Arizona. We've been coming for years and there is just nothing quite like it. Definitely request to eat on the back patio... and order the fish tacos!
Scorpion Bay Grill is one of those places that gets everything right despite having a captive audience! There is not an eatery anywhere for miles, and yet their menu is solid as well as their execution. They’re famous for their Fish and Chips and Fish Tacos. Scorpion Bay Marina is at Lake Pleasant and definitely worth the trip. Great vibe, great food! Scott was our server and did a great job!
Stopped in just before closing time for a quick beverage and to scope out the place as a lunch or dinner option. Service was great, as were the drinks😄. Dogs are allowed on the covered patio; water and a doggie bowl were provided without asking.
The menu looks good, with gluten-free offerings, so we will definitely be back for a meal.
The setting is wonderful - it’s a floating restaurant at the marina, with spots for boaters to tie up. Lots of interesting ducks paddling around which kept out dog quite interested.
We love this restaurant. From the great food, friendly staff, and views of the lake that just won't quit, you'd be hard pressed to find this combination anywhere else. Visit with confidence.

First time at Scorpion Bay Grill. We all ordered the special. The presentation of our dishes was 5 Star. The food was delicious. My ONLY complaint is all of our dishes were luke warm. The apple desert was huge enough for 4 people to share and oh my was it delightful. I came with low expectations but not was I wrong. Sitting out on the deck, on the water with a full moon... Priceless.
The staff is incredibly friendly, and service excellent. Kristen and Kayla take exceptional care of us, always have a smile no matter how busy they are. Love this place.
Great restaurant. Was pretty busy for lunch on a Friday. Indoor seating was available but we wanted to sit on the patio so our wait for a table of 4 was about 15min. Well worth it. The Cove Margarita is fantastic!!!! Must try. I ordered the Ahi sandwich which was cooked to medium-rare perfection and my favorite menu item by far. The others ordered Fish & Chips, Fish tacos and burger, but I highly recommend the Ahi sandwich if you like fish.
Went to grab some dinner and breakfast in the morning, everything was delicious, we got the chicken burger and Scorpion bay burger. For breakfast it was the breakfast wrap which was very full filling and delicious. We got it to go and even though it was Sunday morning; the service was pretty fast. We will go back again. The staff was super friendly both times.
