Original Taco

Been wanting to try this place for years and finally did. We started out with chips and queso cheese with a side of guacamole. Homemade chips were great guacamole was on point perfect perfect! And the cheese was great. For my main dish I ordered pork w/ Verde sauce, rice and beans w/ flour tortillas. This happens to be one of my favorite meals. Although there are different ways people make it some shredded pork some with cubed pork. I personally did not like this at all. I would have to say it was cut into small strips, Lots of fat/ gristle. The rice and beans were OK.. My wife had the 3 tacos with rice and beans 2 tacos were carnitas and 1 was a steak taco. All tacos were great although the shells were a bit soft and falling apart by the end of the meal being a hard shell 🌮 . The place was clean the service was 100%. Although the meal was not the best to our liking. Thank you original taco for Making us feel welcome.

If you are looking for the real authentic taste of mexican food. This is definitely the place for you. Excellent quality food for amazing prices and 5* hospitality. I visit this place every week and I am always fully satisfied with every visit. My favorite order is the three hard tacos with beef and rice and beans on the side. I highly recommend this place!

I've been to dozens and dozens of Mexican restaurants throughout the Midwest, and Original Taco is definitely near the top of my list. The food was as delicious as it was authentic. We also got top-notch service throughout our visit. Any time I'm in Morrison, this will be my prefered dining location for Mexican food. Just a great place all the way around!

Ordered quite a few tacos for my family. They messed up on 6 of them and put toppings that were asked to he left off. Went to get replacements and ordered 16 more tacos as we had more guests and people were still hungry. When I picked up my 6 now correct tacos and my 16 new tacos I was charged for 20 tacos. When i called asked about this he said he charged me for 4 extra tacos I didnt buy to make up his losses for giving me an incorrect order. He then told me I needed to bring back the 6 incorrect tacos that were now an hour old. I live about 20 minutes from here so I was not going to go back a 3rd time just to have a meal. I will no longer be back to this establishment due to the thieves that run the place. Which is a shame because this was a weekly dinner for us. Very disappointed in their professionalism and the fact that he literally stole money from me by intentionally charging me extra when I was never even asked to bring back the tacos. Or addressing it when I was in the building.
