Great small-town bar! Clean, super friendly bartender/waitress. The burgers were very tasty, as was the pork tenderloin. I wish we lived closer. It's the kind of place that feels comfy as soon as you walk through the door. We'll definitely stop in again when in Morrison.

I cannot say enough about fat boys and how fabulous they are. If you want a really good hand padded Burger there you go. Today we went for their 20th year anniversary. Had some wonderful appetizers from the owner and from donations. My bartender Olivia makes the best cupcakes ever. The owner always so friendly and make sure that we are very comfortable.

If you're looking for a good cheeseburger, this is the place. Small bar, great staff, fair prices, cold beer, delicious food. Not a fan of the chicken strip, but everything else I've had has been great.

Update June 2021. Recently I had the Patty Melt and it was fantastic: thick and juicy, two kinds of cheese, grilled onions and a mild tasting rye bread. My wife had the Chefs Salad - - it was very large, the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, and there was a good-sized portion of ham on it. Prices are still reasonable, the waitress / bartender was friendly and efficient, and the food was great as usual.
Excellent burgers! Hand-made pattys, about 1/2 lb in weight: thick and juicy. Prices about $5.50 to $7.00 depending on if you have a regular burger, add cheese/ bacon/mushrooms/etc. A small french fry adds $1.50, but is a substantial portion ( the large probably feeds two). Also salads, tenderloins, etc on the menu.
This is an older building and a "neighborhood" bar and grill -- if you want a fancy atmosphere you'll have to go elsewhere. It is very popular with the locals, and at lunch time the crowd can be school teachers, local businessmen, blue collar workers, farmers, etc...
They also have a few video gambling machines, as do a growing number of Illinois bar and grills.

Ate dinner, our table had 4 adults and a 4 yr old. Waitress was very personable not only to us but our child. Prices were reasonable, I ordered the daily special (Cheeseburger and fries for 7$). Best burgers in town hands down. Our son got chicken strips which he actually loved (He is picky with chicken). Can't think of any complaints, hidden gem in Morrison.

They have a small selection of beers on tap and several others in bottles. The hamburgers are pretty darn good. The waitress was really really nice and kind and patient with a friend of ours who was trying to test her. The clientele are very friendly as well. I ordered my hamburger without buns because I do not eat white bread. The only reason I did not give them a five is because they put my burger in a basket with wax paper and the wax paper dissolved into my burger causing me to chew on paper. Otherwise the burger was excellent. For a small town like that, not a bad place.
