Awesome college bar with ice cold beer and great sandwiches. I can't wait to return!! The stack burger is utterly amazing!
My Father and I were passing through after a job and found Varsity Club after checking out the stadium. I had the “Devil Anse” burger and it was exceptional, it comes with bourbon sauce that brings out a unique flavor with the burger as well.
Didn’t get a chance to try the French Dip Hoagie but if I am ever back here I will definitely give it a try.
Staff and service was great as well!
There's so much variety and everything is high quality. I love the barbecue chicken nachos and brisket tacos! Wings, pizza and burgers are all excellent as well.
Excellent food in a small bar setting where you can get a great view of of the tvs to watch the mountaineers. Outstanding wait staff keeping drinks full and food moving. Great spicy Bloody Mary.
Small shop, big menu and beer selection. Our bartender was amazing. I recommend the Baked Italiano and Big Fish. Beers in frosty mugs on tap from local breweries as well as domestic. Again, they may seem small, but their menu and beer selection is out of this world!
Went back on 5/13/21... They're still at the top of the list and maintain one of the best spots in Morgantown to be! Our server was Jess, who with her kind and awesome personality and service, was the highlight of the wonderful beers and meal we partook. Very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be coming back for the food and service! Bravo!!!
Great hang out with solid food line up and why appears to be the most awesome location for WVU football game days. Came in on a rainy Monday and hung at the bar. Good size pours and a decent selection on tap with more in bottles. Both of us ordered sandwiches: big portions and really good! My Reuben was excellent - should have upgraded to the fries... Lots of sports pics, magazine covers and Mountaineer memorabilia. Bartender told us the owner played for WVU! This place would be off the hook for pre/post game.
AMAZING food!!!😍 The Bang Bang shrimp tacos are the best I've ever had! Everything is amazing as far as food.
