The food was very good and our waitress very nice. I'm giving only 4 stars because we waited over 45 min to get our food. FYI the restaurant is located in the Clarion hotel.

I got the hangover burger it was actually really good to my surprise! However I guess I had came at an awkward time (right after the buffet) so workers were cleaning and I got the feeling that my business wasn’t wanted. The hostess took a minute to finish her conversation with her coworker and then proceeded to seat me. I’ll have to come back to witness the buffet and the ambiance. Edit: I have came back a few more times and given another star for a full 5 star rating! The buffet was awesome!! Came in another time and tried their bread pudding. Y’all. IT WAS AMAZING. Tried their to go lunch special of half shrimp po boys and soups. So tasty!

Everything I had was great. Really like the sweet heat shrimp. Didn't even use the A1, that shrimp in that sauce was amazing.

Stayed in town for work and when I asked another hotel employee where the best place to eat was, this was the first place recommend. No doubt it's good when you are eating with the locals and there was never a moment without someone walking in to get dinner. If I'm in the area again I'll be back!

Morgan's restaurant was about as upscale as you can find in Morgan City: Great atmosphere, generous portions of food on all of our plates and a wonderful staff. It is worth your time to check it out, especially since it takes only 30 seconds or so, to exit highway 90 at the Dr. MLK exit and coast to the Clarion Inn.

Nice waitress, one of the hostesses was a little rude. Buffet was amazing for the price, definitely worth going back.
