The pasta was very authentic and delicious here, and the assortment of Italian Pastries and Gelato is an added bonus for those looking to round out a great dinner

Based on previous reviews, the restaurant was larger and not as noisy as I expected (both good things). We ate during the day, so we just tried the soft crab snack special scallops and mushroom pizzetta, which was also on the daily specials. Both were delicious and fresh. The bread was also very good. We'll be back for a real dinner next time we're in town. Service was friendly and efficient

We have been to Carrara's a few times and have sampled many items from the menu. Everything has been consistently excellent. For me, the Mushroom Risotto is the stuff of dreams. So good! I recently sampled one of the daily specials consisting of chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The chicken was tender, the potatoes creamy, and the beans firm with the perfect crunch. The only drawback to dining here is that everything in the pastry counter is so visually appealing that it's difficult to choose. It's far too easy to leave with a pretty pink box piled to the rim- detrimental to both the pocketbook and the waistline.

I work in the same shopping center as Carrara’s so I thought it would be really convenient to pick up lunch there for my 30 minute lunch break. I ordered their suggested lunch special; half a chicken with a Demi glaze, asparagus, broccoli and cherry tomatoes. It sounded like a good choice. I paid my $28 for the meal and was given buzzer to notify me of when the meal would be ready for pickup. After a long 15 minutes, I get back in line to ask about my order. I’m told it would be up shortly and that because it was an entree it could take longer than usual. I’m super irritated but I agree to wait. Another 10 minutes go by and as I go back into the restaurant, the buzzer goes off and I’m greeted by a very apologetic young man who hands me a paper bag. I take the bag and walk back to work. My lunch is pretty much over so I open the bag to see what my $28 lunch looks like…. I’m done with this place. They just threw everything inside a box, no plate, no container, just a paper box!!

We went thinking we would have their glorious breakfast sandwich only to find out they don't serve breakfast anymore. They are in a bigger and much nicer location. We decided to stay and try their lunch and it was amazing! Excellent service and awesome food!

Very good looking up front, but the baked goods were not up to par. The items in the case were far from fresh, had been refrigerated (which can be ok) but we’re not thawed or brought to room temp before serving. Cold, firm, tasteless. And it took too long to get served drinks. Also someone mentioned they only use non gmo flour from Italy… cool but that will have no bearing on gluten free status as they claim ?!? Hope the restaurant isn’t telling them that.

OMG, so good! EVERYTHING we've tried is AMAZING! We bought a huge selection of pastries, and can't believe how good it all is! Lastly, they only use flour from Italy, which is non-GMO, for those that may have a gluten issue.
