So nice to finally have New York style pizza. It even smelled like home. It doesn’t drip, but it taste just the same! We have found our new Pizza Place.
Quick service, bomb calzones, friendly staff, cool atmosphere. a little expensive pizza wise but I get their calzones. garlic knots dank and dessert ok

Excellent Value and Service. First time I went to Brusco's Pizza was a little over a week ago when my wife was in class. I ordered a small order of wings that tasted like they were straight out of the Anchor Bar in Buffalo followed by a Johnny's Special which is a hot sub filled to overflowing with Ham, Salami and Capicolla to the point where it was hard to get your hands around. Everything was delicious and the service was great to the point that it was almost too good. Still since I was solo, that's more acceptable.
I was so impressed that last Sunday, I returned with my wife and Sister-in-Law and enjoyed a more conventional but still excellent lunch. I had the Baked Lasagna and it was nice and meaty and the sauce was excellent. While a fennel is a staple in Italian Cooking, outside of Italian neighborhoods you rarely taste it. You can definately taste it here and it's an authenic Italian recipe.
My Sister-in-Law had the baked Ziti with similiar comments. My wife stuck with a large Chef Salad which ended up more like enormous and filled with generous amounts of turkey, ham and mozzarella.
All of the portions are more than ample and like before the Service was great but toned down a bit since we were a group.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting although a step up from a traditional Italian restaurant in decor. Service is again great and the value is definately there.
Would recommend to anyone coming through.
I have recently became a regular customer, seeing that I work pretty much right by here. I haven't tried everything, yet, but the place is great! Delicious food! My usual is a slice of cheese pizza, and a garden salad with ranch. Yum! Brandon, who normally makes my pizzas, does a fantastic job, and the customer service is outstanding, even when they get busy, and that's saying a lot, for a restaurant, seeing how stressful things can get on a busy night! One waitress in particular, Olivia, was my server, one night, and she's extremely nice, and her voice is very comforting and cheerful! From what I see in the owner's responses, he seems to be a really nice and caring man, and very attentive. Now, I see why he has great employees. The owner, and the employees here, really care, and are great people, just trying to serve you the best they can, and make a living.

Since we are new to the area we hadn't had the pleasure of driving near this restaurant. I actually learned about it off the Restaurant.com website and took a peek at the menu and it all looked really good! Today I called in to confirm I could use a couple of Restaurant.com certificates and I was advised I could. I decided to go on their website and join their rewards program. Good thing I did as it earned us a FREE order of garlic knots! I quickly gathered up everyone's food order and called right back. I spoke to Makenzie (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and she was super sweet and helpful. We rushed over to pick up our order and drove back home with the delicious smell of their food. I ordered the Lasagna which came with a garden salad and side of bread. My mother in law ordered the eggplant rollatini which also came with a garden salad and side of bread. My husband ordered the Johnny's deluxe calzone. Our oldest ordered a medium sized meat deluxe pizza and our youngest ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap (no ranch & no cheese, she's picky). To share we got mild wings, cheese bresdsticks and fried ravioli. Wow wow wow! It was all so so good! This did not disappoint! We are already looking forward to ordering again and this time we might just eat inside. The restaurant was very welcoming and clean. Thank you guys for the amazing dinner we enjoyed today!

Stopped by here after moving into the area (12/2020), so during Covid. Not a lot of business going on, so service was great. Katie did a great job, she seemed like she knew the place well.
I got a water that didn't stay empty to drink. As an appetizer I ordered the Fried Ravioli, they were honestly some of the best I have ever had and defiantly worth it. I also ordered the Penne Alfredo with sliced sausage. The sausage was great and well spiced, the noodles were a little over cooked (soft) for my taste but not bad, and the sauce tasted great but for alfredo it was just a touch too runny.
I will more than likely be coming back since it was good and close to where i am at now. I would give the alfredo another shot another time, but would like to try more of the menu.
I’ll admit that being from the Chicago area, the plethora of NY style pizza around Mooresville left us wanting something different. That was until we tried Johnny Brusco’s. Their pizza is of course customizable but they also understand pulling the pizza from the oven at the customer’s liking, resulting in crisp crust across the slice. One that doesn’t need to be folded to keep from sagging. The ingredients never lack flavor or quantity. Service is prompt but making sure it’s done right. I’m happy they moved to our end of town as they are nearby and the curbside delivery works great.
After a slight preparation error recently, the manager followed up personally. I can’t see that occurring with chains that don’t have a local stake in the community. We’ve only tried their pizza and salad but will gladly go back and work our way through the menu.
