Sonic Drive-in

This Sonic is always insanely busy, but they keep up well with the volume. Since Covid, this is one of the few fast food places you can get breakfast later in the day... and since I wake up about the time vampires do, I appreciate the option. Always hot and good. The car hop was a light a ray of sunshine. This is one of the best Sonics around.

Aside from the wait time this place was awesome, then again I say that for just about any sonic I visit simply because I love sonic food. But my meal was prepared correctly and the drink was made correctly as well. I will say that this was one of the more busy sonics I have visited so having everything correct was definitely a huge thing for me.

I live at the apartments behind this sonic. I stop here once a week. I always tip good but receive burnt food. The carhops are great but the manager and cooks are trash. If you don’t order to there liking they just don’t take the order. Don’t come to this place mostly cause the cooks always burn the food. The people they got running this establishment need to crack down. We should feel insecure about ordering food. I believe of you take a job no matter what it is you need to do your best. If you hate it. QUIT!

My husband and I went to this Sonic for a cherry limeade and an ocean water. We put our order in at 10:45 am. We sat there waiting for over half an hour!!! At 11: 20, we paged them again and asked when we would get our order. They completely forgot our order and we finally received it after having to reorder.

I only order a soda and or a bag of ice. It always takes over 20 minutes. I asked for the manager on duty after my order was cancelled after sitting her 15 min. No response. Update: Went in this evening. Ordered drinks for my family. He misunderstood my order, when she brought it out, she hands me the drink carrier and says I think something is leaking. Ice water poured all over my phone, my pants and car. She asked for her money for the drinks and I asked for napkins and a new water. Just drove off. What is going on? Your operations needs a new training system for management and employees.

Everytime I try to eat here for the past 18 yrs, the food is overcooked at best. Tonight, my onion rings were burnt and so was my son’s grilled cheese. Plus the person taking my order came off as if I was an inconvenience for ordering. The car hop was very nice. The only bright spot tonight. I will return to avoiding this sonic at all cost. The one on South 134th and Penn is always a 5 star experience. I’ll return to spending my money there.
