Genghis Grill

Place was clean. Staff seemed limited but it was not a busy time frame. We had Justice as our server, and she was very knowledgeable on the menu and changes. She was polite and kid friendly also gave suggestions on mixtures of sauces. A couple of changes have been made for a better process. Ex. They take your starch order before giving you your bowl to stack you food into. The food was amazing!! I love this place and so sad they closed the one on the north side. 1 bowl was seafood only, the other 2 were pretty much everything.

My boyfriend and I arrived here for lunch today and nobody acknowledged us for seating even though the sign told us to wait for seating. After not being acknowledged we wandered up to the front to try and find somebody only to discover that the place is fully staffed and everybody just standing around talking and playing on their phones. The line where you make your food is an absolute mess with employees not caring at all, I would understand if the store was busy but there was only one other couple eating in there when I arrived. If the front of the store looks this bad I can imagine where the food prep area looks and I will never eat here.

The flavor of my bowl was very good. However, the steak was extremely tough and had gristle in it and literally hurt to chew. Also, $56 for 2 bowls and a drink is a lot of money for dinner. I was charged twice for cauliflower rice and only had it in one of the two meals. Wait staff was nice enough and they were tipped accordingly.

We just moved out here and remembered how good Genghis was the few times we had it in Texas, so we decided to grab some dinner here last week. I typically like do positive reviews but unfortunately our experience here is the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. I’m not complaining about the service but food tasted horrible, very low quality. The patron area was unclean with no one behind to help out with any service. Our bill was around $75 dollars for two adult and two kids. We could have had a much nicer dinner for this price at a hibachi or steakhouse.
