One of the best ! Took my Mom here for Mother’s Day lunch yesterday. She said reminds her New York upscale cooking Italian status!!👍🏻👍🏻. Definitely come back again!!
Our favorite place to go to on a Friday evening because the food is great and it's a small, quiet restaurant where you can relax, enjoy a good meal and
have a nice time. The lentil soup and beef kabobs are so delish
Ate here for the first time little over a week ago. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The fresh baked bread was amazing. I was surprised there weren't more people there even though it was early on a Sunday. People really need to check it out.
Really good. Service, A. Appetizers,A. Entrees, A. Fried calamari is so tender...The best I've ever had. Specials are good. Servers provide recommendations if asked. Try it.
Like it but.... This restaurant has an identity problem. It is not really Italian, not Greek, look farther north and east for it's probable roots. They could be really good if they admitted this and focused on unique and/or unusual dishes of which they have a few. Unfortunately, their menu is dominated by the conventional fare meant to draw in a big crowd but which actually makes them an also ran when there is a killer Italian restaurant two blocks further down Honolulu.
Laid-back Weeknight Dinner. Downtown Montrose offers somewhat laid-back atmosphere; that's the reason I'd like to go there for dining once in awhile.
We got some very delightful bread in Portobello's; warm and soft, they went very nicely with olive oil and herbs. My Portobello Salad with Grilled Chicken was very entertaining, it came with plenty of garnish. I was a bit disappointed as portobello mushroom was chopped in small dices, while I was expecting large pieces. Grilled chicken was tender and flavorful, and the house dressing was light. My friend's Portobello Ravioli looked good.
Service was attentive, in terms of drinks and bread were refilled promptly. Waiters were very friendly.
The bread was very good. I didn't care for the décor. I liked the fact that they had several wines by the glass. Enjoyed the lasagne. Overall, it's an okay place for the price and the convenience of not a lot people. I would give it an 8 out of 10. This is definitely not a place for the restaurant snob or wine connoisseur.
Must try the ravioli. The interior is decorated in cozy, Italian/Mediteranian style furniture. The dipping sauce for the bread is made of imported spices. The portobello mushroom ravioli topped with white sauce was delicious. The pizza was hand-tossed and topped with super fresh toppings. Good choice of wines. Great first date location!
Great dining experience. There's something for everyone and the specials don't disappoint.
I'm in LA for the weekend and a friend recommended this restaurant. The food was great and the service is exceptional.
You get what you pay for, I think this place is worth it. Very good pasta and the tiramisu is excellent. Service was timely and staff were friendly.
This is a favorite restaurant for my whole family. Food is incredible. Staff is very friendly.
There is no better food in Glendale/Montrose. Creme brulee on a Monday. Life is good!
The food was good but nothing special about it. The customer service was great.
My fiancé and I came to this restaurant because all the other restaurants had a very long wait list. The salmon with lemon was amazing and so was the chicken piccata. The service was excellent and the dessert was incredible. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Awesome Italian jewel in Montrose...Excellent tasting food, excellent atmosphere, great for a date or dinner with fam. Waiters were friendly and attentive, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!...FYI food is super authentic and delicious. Kids had spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli with porcinni mushrooms. Adults, Ribeye steak and linguini with lobster😋
