This place is a GEM!!!!! The food is just unbelievably good, I’m so addicted to their chicken caprese panini and soups. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu. The sweets look incredible too. Big portions, great prices, super friendly wonderful people. The chef is a master... their tomato soup from scratch was to die for. I can’t recommend this place enough and it’s akways packed when I go, clearly word gets around fast!

First time in today, the staff is very friendly and has a very nice, cozy atmosphere. I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, it was excellent. Highly recommend. Nice variety of fresh baked breads, bagels, muffins, cookies. Definite win for Montour Falls!

Great family run restaurant and bakery. We were in town for 3 days and had breakfast here everyday. Food was delicious and staff was super friendly.

So delicious that I just had to take a bite! The pastry is wonderfully flaky, and the filling is smooth and tart. Coffee is excellent too that was piping hot and brought to our table. The customer service is just fantastic. I mean, really over the top. The woman was warm over the phone when I was confused about their opening schedule and has checked in on us a multitude of times while we settled into our booth. She even recommended a different one further from the door because, “The cold air blows in on that one.” I am absolutely satisfied by their dedication and cheerfulness. Of course, all the locals know of it, so you know it has to be good!

Solid food, sweet staff, and breads and baked goods to die for! You can tell everything is made with love...haven't had a single thing I didn't like. Soft delicious cookies, hearty bagels and sourdough toast (also used for their HUGE paninis at lunch), and homemade sausage, pasta, and soups too! Quaint atmosphere, with plenty of seating space and dedicated local regulars at the counter 😊

Staff super friendly, excellent customer service. We ordered breakfast and the egg bacon pancakes were amazing! You can see that by the picture of my clean plate hahaha... It was a big portion, soft pancakes, bacon perfectly cooked, so you should be good for the morning if you're hungry :) excellent place to start your day!

This is one of the best options for breakfast and lunch in Montour Falls and Watkins Glen. The baked goods are consistently excellent. For example, their donuts are much better than those you can find in most donut shops. You can also get freshly baked pound cakes that are mouth-watering. The coffee options are surprisingly good for a local restaurant, with expressos that are as good as or better than most dedicated coffee shops. Breakfast and lunch items are all cooked on premises and ingredients are all fresh.

We were searching for a coffee stop that wasn't a Dunkin and were lucky to stumble upon Paradiso's on our Google map. Super friendly staff and quick service, but honestly all of that was inconsequential compared to the delicious food. We got 2 breakfast sandwiches to go; the croissant was huge and impossibly melt in your mouth flakey, and the bacon was perfection. We then had to load up on baked goods (it's truly a brilliant marketing strategy to have the counter of goodies as soon as you walk in the door) before leaving; in and out for to go sandwiches in under ten minutes with coffee and sweets for later. Peanut butter cookies were everything I hoped for! Not sure when we'll be driving through that area again but we've saved the name, just in case.

Our second visit in two years. Both times we were enamored by the wonderful family, history, hospitality, and delicious bakery and food. It was so exciting to see the new location and space. We highly recommend this "small business" by the falls and cannot wait to share with our friends and family.

Haven't had anything at the Village Bakery that didn't turn out to be the BEST version I've ever had! Bagels, Cinnamon Rolls, Croissants, Baguette, Olive Loaf, Orange Anise Pastry was my first ever of that and TO-DIE-FOR. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed. Even their cream cheese is amazing! Good coffee too!

Awesome little bakery & diner. We regularly get donuts and occasionally sit down with the kids for one of their hearty breakfasts. Great food, reasonable prices. We love it.

TERRIFIC breakfast! The breakfast sandwich was great as was the Paradiso scramble. Everything is fresh baked. Come early they sell out fast on $1 donuts. If you’re in Watkins Glen, take the short drive to Montour Falls for breakfast. IT IS SO WORTH IT!
