Cornerstone Cafe

Every time I eat at Cornerstone Cafe I leave very satisfied with my meal. This time, I had to take a moment to post a review because I was so happy with the bread pudding you see pictured here. It wasn't the only thing I ate, but I have to let you know that it was absolutely wonderful. Check their menu out - everything is fantastic and you will leave feeling very happy with your meal, just as I do.

I absolutely love this place and am always craving their wild rice soup! I always end up eating the same thing every time I'm there, Jennie Bennie, but I decided to try something new and I got the Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Skillet and it was so good! Anything and everything with their wild rice soup is amazing. Seriously the best wild rice soup I've ever had!

I had a little bit of a wait at the beginning- I was a little confused because I wasn’t offered a menu once I sat down. I sat for a little while- wasn’t a big deal but worth mentioning. Once I was helped - friendly service. The 5 star rating is for the food. I ordered the Reuben with sweet potato fries and spicy Mayo sauce. Wowow. Hands down the best Reuben I have had in my life. I can not wait to try other menu items. (My food was brought out to me very quickly after I ordered it. Less then 10 minutes) I ordered the full Reuben expecting a normal sized sandwich but is was a lot of food. Crunchy, buttery, and cooked perfectly. Yum. I can’t wait to come back and try a pasta dish or a hamburger. The menu had a lot to offer- it was hard to chose. Over all atmosphere was clean and trendy.

Food was very good which is a shame since the waitress we had was extremmely rude. That alone doesnt account for the 2-star rating though. Heck; she was probably having a bad day. My 2 stars is for their worship of trump. Its on the wall, on the staffs shirts, etc. I dont need or want the owners political views while im eating. I wont be back.
