Food is good , but serv could put a smile on her face ! It’s our 4 th time and same lady never says hello or goodbye , does the minimum in serving the people ! In a place like this you need a personality ,a smile and friendly conversation ! Makes a difference !!!!!

Delfilippis provided us with top quality donuts and Italian pastries for our wedding! Carmella was wonderful in helping us organize a tasting in advance and advising us on how much variety and what quantities of each dessert to get. On top of this, Carmella found a friend at the last minute to deliver the 500+ dessert pieces to our wedding venue, which was 45 minutes away from the bakery, when the original delivery car broke down. Our guests were (and still are) raving about the dessert! My husband loved the pies and I loved the banana cream donuts. We highly recommend catering your dessert from Delfilippis!

What an amazing bakery. When I’m in New York I have to find the best local restaurants and bakeries to try, which usually means asking the locals. This time I got the tip for quaint little bakery with big gourmet flare from family and I just had to check them out.
Hidden in an unassuming town DeFilippis Bakery is the real deal NY bakery. They serve up a variety of pies, cakes, fresh breads, etc. all baked daily from open to close. But I was on the hunt for special Italian treats I cannot buy in a Walmart or a Dunkin Donuts, I was searching for gourmet donuts, macaroons, and my wife’s favorite Italian Rainbow Cookies aka Rainbow Cake aka Italian Flag Cookies and DeFilippis has them all and more. From Black and White Cookies (not Oreos 🤣) to Tiramisu I found everything I was looking for and so much more. It’s astounding how many varieties they pack in their street front bakery 🥯 🧁 🎂🥧🍪🍩.
I only wish I could have gotten better pictures, but they didn’t last long 😋 even though I bought about 2 lbs of Italian Rainbow Cookies 😬. I can hardly wait to go back because there were several desserts that we didn’t get to try like their Tiramisu. So I will definitely be returning soon, I love a good bakery but this is one of the greatest baked goods I’ve had the pleasure of devouring 😁 🤩

Went in for strawberry shortcake and custard eclairs and was not disappointed. Both desserts were available and the eclair was delicious. I'm looking forward to having the strawberry shortcake tomorrow. Clean shop, good service and pleasant staff.

Spent the weekend at the lake house for my sons 3rd bday. They were kind enough to let me in 5 mins after closing to get a bday cake. It was so delicious! Not too sweet and the right balance of cake and icing everyone loved it! Thank you to the staff for accommodating us !

I look for an excellent coffee shop or dessert shop wherever I go. If you're searching for a good bakery in Monticello, give DeFilippis a try. In addition to a full bakery, they also have delicious desserts, macrons, and coffee. I was quite impressed.
