Bradshaws Bbq

I like how Bradshaw's is located nowhere near I-85. Bradshaw's is the quintessential barbecue hut - middle of nowhere, cheap, only open for lunch four days a week, and only offering the absolute basics for a barbecue restaurant. Pork, chicken, or ribs. Beans, slaw, fries, potato salad. Also, their pork is the second best I've found in Montgomery - a strong amount of park and smoke ring, though less fatty than Fat Boy's, which loses them a smidgen of points in the moment, though my digestion system appreciated it in the long term. The finely chopped slaw was equal parts mayo and vinegar and wasn't uncommon to these parts*, and while I regret not getting the potato salad - which garnered praise from several of my fellow diners - the standard fries I did end up with were fried very well and seasoned liberally, so I wasn't too let down. (*Edit: I've been informed that the slaw has neither vinegar nor mayo, so shows what I know.) It's a simple restaurant. Bradshaw's knows what they do well, and they trust Montgomery to come and figure it out for themselves.
