My go-to boba shop when i'm visiting Atlantic Square! I don't frequent Monterey Park too often, but this location always hits the spot when I do.
My usual orders are the Bamboo Charcoal Latte with Black Sesame boba, but my FAVORITE is their Chrysanthemum Milk Tea. This drink is seasonal with the Chrysanthemum boba. I haven't seen this on the menu is about a year now... I hope they bring it back soon!!
KEEP IN MIND: the texture of the boba is more dough-like than most places. Very unique since they make the boba in-house. They have so many different fresh boba flavors to choose from!
Delicious bobba milk tea. It's great I can customize my drink - I've been avoiding bobba because it's too sugary. I can opt out of extra sugar. And there were a lot of other choices like what kind of bobba... taro, black sesame,... nice little shop!
Boba does taste good but doesn’t worth the wait. It was super long line and waiting time. Staffs are friendly that they provided water for people who was standing outside in line. Wish they could improve the taste of their drink/tea to make it perfect!
Saw this placed promoted on facebook for making their own inhouse boba. My daughter is a fan of it, and decided to stop by. This is located inside an open mall with plenty of underground parking. I was surprised to find a line, given we arrived an hour before closing time on a saturday night. The wait was 20-25 mnts +5-10, addition to get your order. Really depends on your order and number of items. To my taste, i couldn't taste the difference between the commercially produced bobas balls. However, what took the night was their shaved ice cream, which I found refreshing and delicious. In sum, it's a trendy place for the local young crowd, not my cup of tea, but my daughter like the quality of ingrdients and my wife loved the shaved ice cream.
I didn't think that the house made boba would be that much of a difference, but it really is. The texture was soft, flavor was full... I got the standard brown sugar flavor, and it was so good.. Will definitely try to come back next time I'm in town!
