This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We split the polpette di nonno to start and then got carbonara and the gnocchi telefono. Great service and spectacular food, we will definitely be returning for more!

Excellent service and atmosphere. This little restaurant is a hidden gem tucked inside of a book store. Only seats 16 people so definitely make a reservation. The food is the best part. Everyone was loving their dinner. Everything tasted fresh and looked hand made. It's BYOB so bring some wine! Will be back again.

Finally!!! A place I can come to for meatballs, and legit home cook Italian meals, like legit legit. Omg the pasta was just heavily, I ordered the spaghettoni carbonara and it brought me back to the quality meals I experienced when I went to Italy. Everything so fresh, made from scratch, made with love. Love everything about this place, the charm, the books, the quaintness of it all, it’s hard to find a place where their food standards are just as high as the ambiance they provide, even the music was perfect. Perfect for a date night, or a delicious lunch. I’m so happy this place opened.

We have had the pleasure of dining here since we moved to Montclair. The food is creative and superb and this charming restaurant definitely ranks among our favorites. The service is excellent. Harriet very ably makes her customers feel at home. DaPepo is simply a delight!
