Saveur Creole

I love Haitian food so I had to give this spot a try. When I arrived I found parking on the street. I had reservations but didn't have to give my name to the server Chanelle. She was awesome from the beginning to end and very attentive. The restaurant was byob. We first got this Haitian soup because soup and salad came with the meal. The soup was soooo good. I odered the vegetarian legume and my sister ordered the shrimp etouffee. The legume was so good and I tasted my sister's rice and it was spicy but good. The place is a bit pricey so be aware of that. I enjoyed my time.

I wish I lived closer...this would be one of my staples. Service and food both are great. Took my son for his 19th birthday and the birthday song with the maracas made the night!! The owner (I think it was the owner) was very gracious to shout out another restaurant owner who had been dining there. As a business owner myself I truly appreciated seeing that... just an overall good vibe. Very quaint, nicely decorated & BYOB.

My mother ordered this for my father's birthday. The food was ready on time and everyone complimented us on how delicious the food was. The sauce pois (bean sauce) was the most spectacular beans I've had. It was like two factions in the beans were competing for my tongue's attention! The griot had a deep base flavor and makes you want to drink some cranberry juice after. The food was great! I can't wait til Covid is over, this is one of the first places I will go.
