Quaint Japanese ramen shop serving flavorful options. Service was polite and attentive. Outdoor seating and nearby parking lot were available. There are lots of juice options that we didn't try. Prices are reasonable and the portions were medium-sized. The shishito peppers were delicious but might be too hot for those who don't enjoy spiciness. Recommended.

Stopped by on a Friday night to check out the Farmers Market and saw this place. My son loves Ramen, so we came to check it out. Great service and the Ramen was outstanding. The prices were great and nice feel to the place even the outdoor dining due to the pandemic. We have gone back 3 times already and I have tried a different dish each time. If your in the area or love Ramen give this small place a try.

We came to place take out order here today to answer the call by Monrovia Chamber of Commerce to save our restaurant. The chamber has a campaign going on in partnership with many restaurants in Monrovia. For this week, you’ll get $10 off for orders more than$30. With this deal, we didn’t want to miss it. Besides, we ‘re helping the local restaurants. We also wanted to try out this place anyway. This is our chance. When we were there, the chef is the only one there to take order and to cook the food. We ordered a shrimp udon and Vegetable Soba. Both dishes were delicious. I love their udon. The soup was unbelievably flavorful. The udon was soft yet chewy. My wife got the soba. We both are fans of soba. When we visited Japan, we would go to those street stalls to eat soba. The soba here is pretty close to the taste in Japan. There are plenty of parkings next to the restaurant. So come to support your local restaurants and get $10 off your order. Who doesn’t want a good deal?

This location is off to the side and it's a small location. They have 2 sides one that focuses mainly on a sushi bar set up and you can watch the sushi be made. The other focuses on everything that is on the menu including sushi. It was my first time here and prices are affordable, wide selection of food, and staff was very friendly. I had the tonkotsu ramen and made it a combo with karage. Definitely enjoyed both dishes and the broth to the ramen was flavorful but not super heavy which I liked. As for the $5 ramen I'm not sure what it was but feel free to ask them. I'll for sure be coming back to try the other dishes.

MoonCat ramen is divided in two parts. One side is the sushi/roll area, and the other is the ramen bar. You cannot order sushi at the ramen bar and vice versa so make sure you are in the correct place. I ordered miso ramen and my friend ordered tonkotsu. Both were delicious and came in big portions. We also ordered veggie gyoza which was crispy and not too oily. There are specialty drinks available at the store as well. I highly recommend this place if you want hearty comfort food! Service could use a little bit of work.
