Rudy's Subs

Usually love this place, but today I ordered 3 foot long subs and all of them were burnt to a crisp, see pic. I am very surprised they would sell it like this to the public, but maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice since it was on the inside and it was a takeout order? I called to let them know and they said sorry the oven must have been set too high. That’s it, no offer to make it right. Oh well, buyer beware. Maybe unwrap it in the store before you pay for it.

Went this Sunday before the virus shut everything down. Met the friendliest counter person ever. Enjoyed my steak & cheese sub and fries. I haven’t had a Rudy’s Sub since I was a teenager. Tasted just as good as it did so many years ago. Delicious. I imagine while we are practicing social distancing anyone could call ahead and pre-order for pick-up. Support any local businesses you can during these trying times. If you need a quick bite and don’t want to cook, you still have options instead of a fast food chain. 5 stars.

The food was delicious and fresh, the fries were hot and crispy. The reason I did not give 5 stars is for two reasons. 1. The sign said “buy 2 subs get one free on Sunday” No where does it said the sub had to be a full and not a half. 2. My fiancé and I dined in along with 2 other couples that were there. A female worker from the back that seemed to be cooking was rather loud and obnoxious and also used profanity once. If my kids had been there I would have said something. She mentioned something about “how she’s worked there since she was 12 and how her other job pays so much more” It was very unprofessional and I even saw the customers sitting in front of us look over several times when she was being loud. So it was distracting.
