Outback Steakhouse

This is the first time in a long time that we have been here due to bad service the last time. And they reminded us of why we haven't been there. Our waitress was very sweet and kept checking in on us, so kudos to her! But.... We got seated, she took our order. 15-20 minutes later we got our appetizer. Ok, not horrible wait time. Then.... It took them over 45 minutes to bring our food out after the appetizer! Almost an hour to get our main meals! And when the manager came over and ask, we told him. He stated sorry the kitchen is backed up. Do you need anything while you are waiting. We ask for boxes for the rest of the appetizer we did not eat, as to save room for our food. He never came back with the boxes! By this time our child was very done with sitting in this restaurant! We had been here for over an hour at this point! Containing a one year old in a highchair for this long doesn't go very well. Sweet waitress came over about 5 minutes later and explained that was the manager and she ask him to compensate us for the time we have spent there. Off a $180 bill, he took $10 off! I was not impressed! By the time our food finally came no one even wanted to eat. Manager never brought the boxes, waitress finally did. And... Half of my son's food did not come out till we complained and ask for the rest of his meal. We will not be back, our money is better spent elsewhere!!

We ordered curbside from Outback today. It was a seamless and quick process. Ordering online was easy, and the food was ready within 20 minutes. The staff member brought out the food immediately when she saw my car. She was friendly and helpful. Food was perfect. I'm particularly impressed with how they package the salads - with individual containers so nothing gets spoiled or soggy. Excellent experience, and we will definitely be back.

Update: Went for a late lunch for Mothers day weekend today. It was busy and under staffed like most places, but they got us setted in 20 mins. We ended up with the same waitress Lindsay. Needless to say everything was 🔥 including her! Seriously stop by and try the blooming 🍤.! It is nom nom nom nom 🍴🤤! They really give you a lot for an app! After the Steel City con our family stopped for dinner. First time here since Covid. The hostess was very accommodating for one of my sons on the spectrum. The food was 💥 especially the blooming shrimp! To top it all off we had and amazing waitress named Lindsay. She was polite, funny, and didnt bother us too much or rush us! It was a really great!
