A small restaurant in size but very big in food quality, taste. They have a huge menu. My son and family, came from Texas to celebrate my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday so we all drove to West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Having been to this restaurant many years ago, we decided to try again. We weren’t disappointed in food at all. I didn’t give 5 stars for a couple of things. One they charged for water and after a while there were staff members kept coming and giving strange looks at the table as if they wanted us to finish fast and leave. But I’ll definitely recommend this place.

A small little place for South Indian food. Food was fairly priced and tasted good. Service was mediocre and they do not provide regular tap water, rather they bring bottled water and do not inform you that there’s a charge for it. The mango milkshake was delicious and the sambhar had vegetables in it. Conveniently located close to the temple.

Amazing South Indian food joint. It’s located on the outskirts in the hills and everytime I’ve been there it’s cloudy and rainy. The hot food gives a good feel. All the dosa, wada, idli dishes are great. The prices are affordable and the staff is very friendly.

Awesome food, especially if you are a South Indian you would love the menu and taste. I tried Mysore Masala Dosa with Madras Filter Coffee it tasted amazing!!
South Indian Tali was terrible other than puri nothing tasted good.

I visited Udupi Cafe twice in the last one month. The restaurant was enroute Buffalo to Raleigh. On the first visit I had the South Indian Deluxe Thaali. It was one of the yummiest "full meals" I had in America. Highlights were the Thengaai saadham, Udupi rasam, paruppu, paaysam. There were more dishes and all of them were well done. Coffee was complementary and I gladly devoured to keep me awake for the next leg. The first visit deserves a 5 star for Thaali.
On the return (today), I had Mysore masala dosai, Mysore Bonda and a coffee. Though the Bondas were yummy and well done, the batter for masala dosai was not fermented and tasted raw (had it been fermented, the dosai would have been heavenly). The milk for the coffee was burnt and I could fast the burnt milk. This experience deserves a 2.
The staff and owners were very friendly and attended to all my needs. :-)

THE comfort food place in Pittsburgh/Monroeville. Authentic southern Indian food at a very reasonable price. The location and looks of the restaurant doesn’t do justice to the food. All of their dosa are great and mirch bhajji is also a really good appetizer.

It's loosing the charm it had once, maybe because it's getting way too busy. Service is very fast and friendly staff however food quality is going down.

This was incredible. I’m already itching to go back. Starting with a hot chai tea and dosa with yummy sauces was enough. Then came the platter. We were in heaven. Then the garlic naan and aloo gobi. Everything was delicious and the people were friendly.
