Hot Breads

We ordered a 10lb 2-tier cake and the price was super reasonable. In fact one of the lowest in the area. We got the mango cake and the butterscotch cake. They ensured that all of our instructions were followed and delivered on time. I must say that the cakes tasted slightly better when you eat pieces of it in the store from the glass box than when made in bulk but they were nevertheless very tasty.

We ordered 2 chicken soups (hot & sour) yesterday night (2/15). When we picked up the order and reached home, we realized that they have messed up the order and given us Veg soups instead. We immediately called the restaurant but it went to voice mail. We then called up again today (2/16) and the person on the front desk flatly declined replacing the order or refunding the money. He kept trivializing the concern (with lines like "these thing happen" and "we are in a hurry too in the evenings"). He pretty much said that the best he could do would be like offering a free pastry or something when we place an order next time. We weren't hankering for a few dollars but asking for what was rightfully ours - but the person just made it appear as a non-issue which doesn't need attention (or fixing). Shows this person's lack of empathy or customer service. This was even more disappointing since we used to order from this place every week (sometimes more than once) and surely expected a fair treatment. We asked to speak to someone from management but that request was turned down as well. We are not going to be doing any business with them anymore if that is how they treat their patrons. Very upsetting.

Ordered take out boneless chicken Biryani. The service was as poor as the surroundings. First, they lied saying that the wait was 35 minutes. It was more than an hour. Tables were unclean with grease stains. There were empty cardboard boxes stacked in one corner of the Resturant where customers ate. Workers kept coming out of the kitchen without masks. Some put them on when they came into contact with customers. When I questioned why was it taking so long for the food, the employees spoke their Indian language and laughed. THIS IS NOT A DECENT AND CLEAN PLACE TO GET FOOD. After observing the employees and the conditions of the Resturant, I left.
