This is my favorite waffle house. It is clean and well-run. They greet you when you walk in, every time. The staff is friendly and they care.

No air conditioner or power due to Hurricane Laura, but still had a generator for lights and fans and even though they had a limited menu, they were still able to serve people, and the food was very good. The staff was also very nice and pleasant and would make me want to go back.

Never had an issue with quality of food.. But almost every single time I've tried to call in an order to go, I get put on hold than hung up on. It's obvious the servers that answer the phone could care less about the to go orders because they "assume" they won't get a tip. I have literally tried on 3 occasions to call in an order with the same result. I've since gone elsewhere. *It's not just this location..other restaurants and waffle houses are notorious for not caring about to go orders because there's nothing in it for them.. heads up to all restaurant owners, your staff is costing you money. (Have the cooks answer the phone)
