Excellent food! Definitely should be in your top 3 sushi places in Modesto. Their fish is fresh and service is great! I would definitely recommend a pit stop here for all of my fellow sushi lovers!

Good food but the wait time for online is ridiculous. Over an hour at this point and I got to the restaurant 20 minutes ago. They need to work on their online ordering. This has happened a few times when I've tried ordering online, normally not this long but at least 5 or 10 minutes late.
Also, look at this Koren BBQ Beef Bowl. PATHETIC!!! FOR $13?!?!

The owner is such a sweet and amicable human I loved hearing his laugh from across the bar and the food was great. My first time having a sake bomb and it was delicious. Gotta come back for this sushi!!! The miso soup was tasty. I ordered the golden gate roll and I couldn't finish it soooo good.

Staff always so friendly. Like many places some staff members are more attentive than others but so far everyone who served or helped me has been very pleasant. I've sat in many times, ordered to go in person and over phone/online. Everyone is so kind and caring. Weather you choose to dine in or order Togo, maybe have it delivered. The quality of the sushi is still good. Definitely my to go sushi spot in modesto. Can't compare to San Jose but by far one of the best here in modesto.

Be careful with the seafood. Had a stack of 6 oysters and one of the was spoiled. Had no apology from anyone they said it should not have been rotten. What kind of excuse is that. Obviously it should not have been spoiled but it was. I vomited in their bathroom but they did compensate with a measly 50% the bad oysters. . . .

Great service from our server. They were out of the beers we asked for which is ok, because our server gave us a Corona on the house. Our shusi rolls were good. My only complaint is, please clean your fish tank.
