Shangri La

Decent place to go for food but if you're looking for somewhere to eat for the purpose of satisfying your hunger this may not be it. If you're just craving Chinese and want to satisfy a craving then you'll be okay. So it is worth a try if you're curious. The food tastes well and looks good, but for what you get I'd consider it slightly overpriced for the size of the portions. Without mentioning specific locations, I can just say that you can definitely get the same or better taste with more portions somewhere else around the area.

Absolutely love this place. One of the best restaurants in Modesto, in my opinion. Great prices all around, and the portions are very big. Atmosphere is gorgeous, with an impressive banquet room for large parties. I enjoy the Chicken & String Beans very much, but my favorite is the Shrimp with Mixed Veggies. Staff is quick and precise, as well as friendly. Five star place for sure.
