I came at 11:30 on a Tuesday when they first opened and it was fairly busy. They offer a wide selection of sushi and other food. Their prices are fairly expensive but the food all tasted amazing and everything else I saw getting carried by me looked great and made me want to try it. All of the staff were super polite and extremely friendly. The restaurant itself is very cool!

Great food and service. Took off a star bcuz an item we ordered was forgotten and prices were a bit high.
Overall, would definitely recommend. Modesto is lucky to have such a good sushi place with a menu that is traditional but with a cool spin on it.

I originally gave them five stars but the last few times I was really disappointed. The service has gotten bad- I waited 20 minutes for a drink refill and it was so loud that I couldn't hear my friends. My dinner came out so we asked for chopsticks and napkins, that took another 10 minutes. I start eating my sashimi and what do you know? Very fishy tasting and if you are a frequent sashimi eater you know that means "old." I use to love this place...

Seems to be the hot spot in town, both times I was there it was completely packed with lots of people waiting to be seated. Food was great and quick despite the crowds!

Always a great experience when we come here. This time we made sure we got reservations at 5:00 instead of 5:30 because it got super busy at 5:30 and we were able to get our drink order and our dinner order in before the rush came in. Make it easier on your servers and have your drink orders and appetizer orders ready to go and you can tell them your dinner order if you know it so they can have a little bit of leeway time to get everything organized. It makes the night go that much better. Their garlic edamame was delicious and they're Dante's roll and the goodie roll or fabulous. We love the fried jalapenos on top but they're spicy mayo sauce on the side to dip it in. My wife loves the cucumber martini and their old fashions with the Knob Creek reserve was not bad at all. I had two she went for 3.

Terrible seating service. Told there was only a 15 minute wait on the phone. Arrived and was told it would be a 30-40 minute wait because there was a party of 5 and 12 ahead of us. Another couple arrived after us and git seated before us, WTH! Food is overpriced and the same quality as other sushi places.

Coming from the Bay Area, I was a little hesitant to try this place. But the fish was excellent, on par with what I expect from home.
The space is noisy on a Friday night. They could use some acoustic absorbers to reduce the din.
