Whataburger

This is such a good burger restaurant. I like freshly cooked burgers and they do such good burgers here. I like the very fresh good tomatoes they add to their burgers. The regular burgers are big so I often get a smaller junior burger to eat it all. The staff is nice and good for dine in or take out or drive through.

What the?! burger Being new to Alabama this is the very first Whataburger I’ve been to. Despite the line, the ordering was fast. I saw lots of commercials for the Pico de Gallo burger so that’s what got me in I ordered it without cheese. Not impressed with the presentation. It looks nothing like the picture. It’s called Pico de Gallo burger not burger with Pico. After two bites there’s still no Pico or the creamy lime sauce. We had to wait for the food. They could have spent a few more seconds putting a little more Pico and sauce so it would look and taste better. After I got towards the center, I found the Pico and it tastes great! Also since this is the first time here, I don’t know if we are to clean up ourselves or if it is the norm to leave the cleaning to the staff. The others seemed to have left it for the staff and although they are not that busy, no one has come out to clean. I just cleaned up after myself.

Covid cases are at the lowest in years but for some reason they are only doing online curbside orders. I e seen 10 people in the last 15 minutes try to come in and order either inside or through drive through. Their drive through is blocked off and are not letting people inside. How you going to stay in business not letting people In or to order at drive through. ????.

I’ve been in this area for five weeks helping my mom recover from her surgery. Tonight is the 3rd and LAST time I will try this pitiful establishment. First time they didn’t have the bread for the patty melt. Second time we were stuck in line for over an hour because a customer was angry over a messed up order. TONIGHT they didn’t have chicken nuggets or chicken tenders at 9:05pm. Didn’t get out the drive through until 9:47pm. 40 minutes only to get home and my fries weren’t in the bag. If I could give zero stars, I would. Throw the whole restaurant in the trash.

It's all good! My X and I used to frequent the Schillenger Rd location. It was always a treat and as good as my first "W!" My first job at 16 in High School, that's when I learned you could have your onions grilled for your Burger! Little paper hat and hair net and Apron, WOW seems like 100 years ago!
